The Mountain Rock Treks service provided an excellent door-to-door experience with a very friendly team who also made me feel safe and at ease; there was nothing to worry about during the flight.

The pilot was friendly and experienced as well as the helicopters were in good working order. Everything was spectacular! The views were phenomenal flying over Everest base camp. I liked the professionalism and attention to detail given by Mountain Rock Treks, from booking the flight to landing back safely on the ground.

After deciding that I had only 9 days in Nepal, I really wanted a tour of the untampered landscapes of Bhutan. Mountain Rock Treks accommodated and put together the perfect seven tours, including Kathmandu, Paro, Thimphu and Punakha. The company was responsible for all of the flight and permit arrangements, which made it easy and relaxing for this whole tour. 

Excellent professional people from the very first moment they arranged the booking to when they dropped us off at the Kerung border. They checked in regularly for our well-being all along our trek and gave us the secure feeling needed to travel into such a remote region.

I completed the hike from Nagarkot to Changu Narayan in connection with a Bhaktapur city tour organized by Mountain Rock. 

Manoj, my guide, was exceptional at tying together the nature and culture references. I enjoyed my day very much. All the staff members were very friendly and easy to work with, and we were well-organized as professionals. I would do it all again in a heartbeat.

After a long physical trek to Everest Base Camp, the helicopter service by Mountain Rock Treks was a welcome comfort for the trip from Gorakshep to Kathmandu and back. The helicopter was comfortable, and the pilot I found to be experienced, confident, and personable. 

The views of flying over the Himalayas were overwhelmingly beautiful, and really, the helicopter trip back to Kathmandu was an integral part of my trip. Everything, from booking to preparations to flying, was all 100% professional and clear.

Joining a fixed departure can be hit or miss, but this one was a definite hit! Really enjoyed meeting our fellow trekkers. Dipak ensured that our permits for Mustang were taken care of before we even got there. Our jeep was perfect, our guide was brilliant with a detailed account of the Tiji Festival, and fantastic value.

The fixed departure tour for the Tiji festival in Lo Manthang was the perfect selection for our group; the jeep was a perfect decision. Mr Dipak took care of the permits, even getting front-row seating at the festival. The driver, as well as the guide, was excellent and would go out of their way to show you around Mustang. The itinerary's goal was cultural engagement, and cultural engagement was achieved. I found Mountain Rock Treks via Instagram and was engaged with the posts that shared local culture. Our guide Sonam was able to share organically engagement with a Tibetan family where we shared yak butter tea, and were engaged in conversation with the family about their everyday lives.
