I recently completed the 14-day Luxury Annapurna Base Camp Trek with Mountain Rock Treks, and I can confidently say it was one of the most incredible travel experiences of my life.

From the moment I landed in Kathmandu, the team was incredibly professional, organized, and warm. I felt supported and cared for throughout the journey.

The trek itself was absolutely breathtaking. We walked through vibrant rhododendron forests and enjoyed panoramic views of Machapuchare, Hiunchuli, and, of course, Annapurna.

Our guide Jitendra was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. He shared local stories, pointed out wildlife and flora, and made sure our pace was comfortable for everyone in the group. The porters were equally amazing—always smiling and ready to help with anything.

What truly set this trek apart was the combination of adventure and comfort. It’s rare to find a trekking company that prioritizes both the quality of the journey and the quality of accommodation/food so equally. I never felt rushed, and each day allowed time for acclimatization and rest.

Reaching Annapurna Base Camp at sunrise was surreal—an unforgettable moment that will stay with me forever. I couldn’t have asked for a better company to make it happen.

 The amount of satisfaction I have received from this experience is limitless. The three-pass trek was certainly the most challenging. Many thanks to Mountain Rock Treks for all their thoughtfulness and support during such a tribute to adventure. From the beginning, I recognised their interest in enjoying my happiness and fun. From beginning to end, the adventure of the three passes was more than just brave; it was exhilarating. 

I chose this hike specifically for the gentle nature while being able to combine nature and history. The Namobuddha-Panauti trek offered by Mountain Rock Treks was perfect - deep green forests, terraced fields, and temples that were hundreds of years old. Our guide had some great stories about the local legends as well, which added to the enjoyment of the hike. Everything was followed up with refreshments halfway through and some comfortable transportation. 

I booked just a week before our trip, after reviewing our itinerary when I found the Mountain Rock Treks website. Mountain Rock Treks got back to us right away with our flights and our permits. Our airport pickup went smoothly, with our guide Nima at the arrivals gate waiting for us.

When we found out on our connecting flight that we ended up losing a day of sightseeing due to the flight getting canceled, Nima was able to adapt the flight itineraries and make the necessary appointments so we wouldn't miss anything regarding Lhasa. 

Mountain Rock Treks provided a half-day tour of Kathmandu, and provided so much information about the rich heritage of Nepal. Our guide was incredibly impressed by the history and passionate at each site we visited, allowing for a memorable experience at each stop. It was impressive to see the company's attention to detail and the smooth flow from one location to another.

As a low-budget traveller, I was glad to get a good deal with Mountain Rock Treks regarding the Rara Jeep Tour. He covered all the transport and feeding, lodges, and park fees, which made it an extremely cheap method of discovering the scenic beauty of Rara. Of course, it was clear that the quality of the services provided was much higher than the price.

The jeeps were in good shape, the accommodations were clean and comfortable, and the food was decent and filling. It was exactly as described with no additional charges or costs, as was said that it would be.

Each guide made sure that their contribution to the tour was as valuable as it could be. They were very friendly and provided us with good background information about the traditions of the local people. 

The team were very professional throughout the entire process from booking the trek to the conclusion of the trek. They did everything, so I was able to enjoy the actual trek. The guides were reassuring throughout each and every trek, and the porters were very friendly, too.

The price point for the trip package seemed reasonable, given the level of service and the extraordinary views I experienced. I would certainly trek with Mountain Rock Treks again.

Through Mountain Rock Treks, we went to Annapurna Base Camp. Our guide, Suman, came with a vast knowledge of the local culture, a sense of humor, and compassion. When one of us was having trouble with the altitude, he kept his composure and, in a polite manner, changed the pace of the group. Our porters, Bikash and Kumar, never ran out of smiles and encouragement, not even when the rain was freezing.

Every aspect—from getting there to the tea house—was taken care of without any hitches. It is really evident that the team is passionate about their work, and they give it their all. They were not only the people who showed the way, but they also took care of us as if we were their family members. We would have never reached ABC without their help.
