For fit people, this 7-day route is definitely recommended. Mr. Dipak and his company, Mountain Rock Treks, manage everything with such professionalism. I was welcomed by Mr. Dipak at the Kathmandu airport, and he ensured that we had no problems. The guide knew a great deal, and the scenery, oh, the scenery is truly out of this world. Best value for money from such a reliable travel agency in Nepal for visiting ABC.
If you're on a time crunch, this is the perfect trip for you. I found Mountain Rock Treks on the web, and I liked that I was able to communicate with Mr. Dipak easily. I was traveling solo, and I felt secure as well as guided by a great guide who knew all the best sites and photo ops along the trail. The trip was an amazing value for a solo trek as well!
Crossing the border from Tibet into Nepal at Kerung was incredibly easy; without a doubt, the easiest I have ever experienced, and this is down to Mountain Rock Treks' very precise planning and facilitation by our guide.
Mountain Rock Treks provided great service at an affordable price. No added charges, we got everything that was promised, and the accommodations were very comfortable for the duration of the trek. It was all very clear and straightforward, one of the best travel experiences I have had.
I can not say enough good things about the Nepal Photography Tour with Mountain Rock Treks. This 11-day tour was filled with amazing locations, starting from the ancient temples in Kathmandu to the lush jungle in Chitwan. All of our guides were super passionate and knowledgeable. They made sure we got the best shots possible at each location. The accommodations were great, and private transportation made traveling easy. Any level of photographer would enjoy this tour.
Thank you, Mountain Rock Treks, for an amazing adventure.
The 4W trip to Manang was the start of an amazing adventure! I used the team from MRT to take me on the 4W trip up to Manang in an impressive vehicle and to hike up to Tilicho Lake. Dawa was a wonderful guide on this incredible 6-day tour with sights around every corner! It cost a good price, and the service was excellent!
The most difficult challenge on this trek, Kang La Pass at 5322m-left me out of breath but in awe as the whole Annapurna massif stretched out before my eyes from the summit. Mr Dipak put the group together beautifully; our porters were strong, and all smiled. The logistically challenging, mobile from the relatively distant Nar valley toward the bluest lake (Tilicho Lake) we've ever seen was executed perfectly. An outstanding trek indeed.
Climbing Ama Dablam was truly the adventure of a lifetime, and choosing Mountain Rock Treks made all the difference. From the moment I arrived in Kathmandu, the team handled every detail with professionalism and genuine care.
Our guide was incredibly experienced — not only knowledgeable about the route and safety procedures, but also deeply passionate about the mountains. He constantly checked on our well-being, adjusted the pace when needed, and made sure everyone in the group felt confident and prepared for each stage of the climb.
The logistics were seamless. Accommodation, meals, and gear arrangements were all well organized, and the Sherpa support team was simply outstanding. Their strength, kindness, and encouragement inspired me every step of the way — especially during the push from Camp 2 to the summit, where their calm guidance helped me stay focused despite the altitude and exposure.
Reaching the top of Ama Dablam and watching the sunrise over Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu was beyond words. It was both humbling and exhilarating — a memory I’ll cherish forever.
I can’t recommend Mountain Rock Treks highly enough for anyone considering Ama Dablam or any Himalayan expedition. They combine safety, expertise, and warmth in a way that makes you feel like part of their mountain family.
Thank you to the entire team for an unforgettable experience — I’ll definitely be returning for my next climb with you!
