We did a fantastic spiritual trek to the Langtang Gosainkunda a year back with Mountain Rock Treks for Janai Purnima. It was not just a hike, but the tranquillity and sanctity of Gosaikunda Lake made the walk even more meaningful. The bathing of pilgrims in the sacred water and their puja performances really impressed me. Mountain Rock Treks managed everything well, including comfortable lodges, meal guide services, etc.  Their experienced guides not only ensured our safety but also shared their knowledge about the rituals and significance of the Janai Purnima festival. We were able to participate in the celebrations alongside local pilgrims, creating a truly enriching experience that transcended the physical trek.

When my wife developed altitude sickness near Namche Bazaar, our Everest Base Camp adventure took an unexpected turn. We reached out to Mountain Rock Treks out of concern. The porters are absolute marvels, carrying your gear with ease, I couldn’t recommend this company any higher.

Our guide, Amrit, was so warm and made every step of our journey fun. My favorite part was staying at Hotel Everest View – waking up to a full view of Mt Everest every morning was simply magical. We had plenty of time each day to take in the scenery at our own pace, and I never felt rushed. Everything from the flight to Lukla, to our well planned meals were taken care of for us by Mountain Rock Treks. I would highly recommend them if you want a trek that takes it to another level. 

Our initial plan was the usual Everest Base Camp trek, but as we arrived in Namche Bazaar, we suddenly developed a desire to explore other sides of the Khumbu valley. Our dream activity was undoubtedly the Mountain Rock Trek helicopter flight. It not only helped us save time but also enabled us to look at the unspoiled places in the Everest area before our flight back to Kathmandu. This was not only for us, but the helicopter ride was also a very good bonus to our journey.

Looking down at the Himalayan peaks, I noticed the incredible scenery of snow peaks, valleys, and small villages.
