Because of limited vacation days, I arranged, as mentioned earlier, with Mountain Rock Treks in advance the helicopter flight from Gorakshep to Kathmandu. Due to the time saved by helicopter, instead of a 4-day trek to Kathmandu, I had more time in Nepal. 

It would have been an arduous trek return, and yet we enjoyed the spectacular and beautiful air scenery of Everest and the Sherpa villages. The helicopter ride was efficient, smooth, and on time, which is vital when holidays are limited and you're traveling out of your country. 

Mountain Rock Treks made our ABC trek a once-in-a-lifetime adventure! Our guide Santosh was meticulous, kind and undeniably knowledgeable. 

From airport pick-up to our last day, every detail during the trek was handled - the accommodation and food along the way were exceptional, and our porters were beasts - always smiling and full of energy. 

The itinerary was fused with opportunities to soak in the mountain views, and never felt rushed. We cannot recommend the Mountain Rock team enough for a low-stress, rich experience in the Himalayas and we are already planning to come back for another trek.

Mountain Rock Treks went the extra mile on our Chandragiri Day Trip. Their skilled guides knew every viewpoint and informed us about the Himalayan panorama—from Annapurna to Everest. We opted for the sunset hike extension, which added more magic as dusk settled on the valley. The tour was smooth, including jeep transfers, cable car booking, and lunch at the hilltop café. Their care and attention, from start to finish, made this day one of the highlight experiences of our Nepal visit.

Mountain Rock Treks made our Singu Chuli (Fluted Peak) tour a complete success. Mr. Dipak, the operator and owner, handled everything from permits to hotels. Raj, our guide, was a class act in terms of professionalism regarding behavior and courtesy and looked after our health and well-being at all times. Although the climb was technically demanding, Raj's leadership and his team's determination guided all of us to the top. The view from the top was a sight worth all the toil. I would recommend Mountain Rock Treks to any climber who wants a professional and value-for-money climbing experience.

I joined the 7-night Tibet tour after my Nepal trek, and it was truly unforgettable. Visiting iconic sites like the Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple gave me deep insight into Tibetan culture and spirituality. The landscapes were breathtaking, especially around Everest Base Camp. Mountain Rock Treks handled all logistics smoothly, and the guides were knowledgeable and friendly. This tour is perfect for anyone wanting a rich cultural and scenic adventure.

Mountain Rock Treks arranged a wonderful day trip to Chandragiri for my family, complete with a short hike and cable–car ride. Our guide was invaluable, explaining the significance of the Bhaleshwor Mahadev Temple. We added paragliding from the hilltop, which was thrilling and well–coordinated by the team. The lunch at the café with panoramic views was perfect. The staff handled everything—from pickup to drop-off—making us feel relaxed and cared for throughout the tour.

Mountain Rock Treks offered us a pleasant ride and an incredibly informative guide on our day tour of Patan Durbar Square. We were able to visit the major heritage sites, as well as spend some time in beautiful villages such as Khokana. I was very impressed with their email response time and the detail they provided to outline the permit process for traveling to Tibet. Our guide was personable and knowledgeable and gave the perfect amount of detail for understanding Tibetan culture and history.

There was no friction of experience at all, and it was totally rewarding.
