Our lead guides were not only strong climbers but also really fun and encouraging company in the hardest moments. The acclimatisation was perfectly gradual, and I never felt too exhausted or too out of breath along the way. The summit day is super difficult but amazing, and the view from the top is outstanding. 

Mountain Rock Treks did an excellent job of logistic detailing at the Everest Expedition, with quality equipment along with experienced Sherpas and comfortable base camp facilities. Great varieties of quality food were also available at higher altitudes. Their above-sufficient support in Kathmandu, regarding dealing with paperwork and in cases of emergency, meant so much to us. Trekking in the peak season always comes with a certain degree of uncertainty, and we faced some problems before starting the Everest Base Camp trek when the flight from Kathmandu to Lukla was cancelled for two days. We did a fantastic spiritual trek to the Langtang Gosainkunda a year back with Mountain Rock Treks for Janai Purnima.
