Tilicho Lake was breathtaking, and I am very glad that I opted for the jeep drive. Otherwise, it would have taken too much time from my short holiday. I found Mountain Rock Treks on a travel website. I made a last-minute booking, but they were very efficient to work with, thanks to Mr. Dipak! They are friendly and have well-maintained gear. A difficult trek, but a great team made it doable at a good price.

Mountain Rock Treks organized our 13-day Gokyo Valley Trek very well. The trail through Namche, Dole, and Machhermo was pleasant, but reaching the beautiful Gokyo Lakes was an experience. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were also delighted by a great view during the Gokyo Ri sunrise and the Himalayas panorama. Everything was perfect, from the accommodation to the vehicles. We will surely return to the Everest region with MRT.

Gokyo Valley Trek’s speciality was the view while climbing up the Gokyo Ri at sunrise, followed by an amazing panorama of the Everest Himalayan range. The 13-day Gokyo adventure was well planned and managed by Mountain Rock Treks. Our trek guide was very supportive and assisted us while maneuvering through the rocky patches. The Gokyo Valley Trek was more than what we expected, as every single day had something unique and beautiful. Mountain Rock Treks has great itineraries involving the Himalayan ranges with beautiful views of Gokyo Lakes, glaciers, and the lovely village with Sherpa culture. Crossing the suspension bridge and visiting the local villages made us cherish every bit of the experience. We would recommend it to fellow travelers seeking an enriching mountainous trail in the Everest region.

After the fantastic trek to Everest Base Camp, we decided to take the return flight by helicopter from Lukla back to Kathmandu, and it was simply great. An amazing flight to get a view above the mountains where we had been hiking. We felt relieved and thrilled while flying back into town. Mountain Rock Treks made our booking perfectly, so everything went well. That was a royal treatment compared to an ordinary flight, and it gave me an excellent opportunity to see the beauty of the Himalayas for one last time. Highly recommended. Returning from Lukla to Kathmandu by helicopter after the Everest Base Camp trek was a game changer.

Our Gokyo Valley Trek was an amazing experience as we got sufficient time to adjust while acclimatizing. Our professional guide from MRT took special care of us during the walk and even worried about our pace. The Gokyo Village and its turquoise lakes were a great delight. We had a wonderful time with the trek agency as they provided complete support throughout the expedition. We would prefer Mountain Rock Treks again for any other Himalayan Mission.

I had a terrific Lhasa to EBC trek with Mountain Rock Treks, where every step was so smoothly arranged - from getting the permits and booking the hotels everything ran like a clock. The guide was exceptional and made sure I was always in safe hands for my very first visit to Tibet. Highly recommended!

Looking up the dates for the Tiji festival in 2026, I found this fixed departure tour; Mr. Dipak helped so much to obtain the spots. The 4W jeep tour to Upper Mustang allowed us to take in so many more views; the Tiji festival was phenomenal, and this has to be an incredible tour without being a budget tour due to the price being so low.
