My Ama Dablam Base Camp trek with Mountain Rock Treks was the trip of a lifetime. The hike to Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar was difficult but well worth it. The guides were very knowledgeable and caring, making sure we were safe and comfortable along the way. Standing on top of Kala Patthar at sunrise and seeing Everest up close and personal, shining golden in the sun, is something I will never forget. I felt very supported by the team to help make my dream of hiking at such high altitudes come true. The accommodations and food were great, even in more remote places, and our porters went above and beyond – they are amazing. I highly recommend Mountain Rock Treks for their expertise as well as that personal touch. This adventure surpassed all my expectations.

We had our tour to Pokhara memorable with Mountain Rock Treks. We enjoyed Davis Fall sightseeing and relaxed by riding boats on Phewa Lake. The view from the World Peace Pagoda was something out of this world, as was the sunrise over Sarangkot. This friendly team attends to every small detail, making the journey smooth and enjoyable. We experienced a little bit of a hiccup with our group being accommodated in one hotel, as it was overbooked, but Mountain Rock Treks organised another hotel in no time at all. 

The guides were energetic and bilingual as they guided our group through the uniqueness of Bhutan's culture, and I can't speak highly enough of this company with respect to their professionalism and caring.

A good friend recommended Mountain Rock Treks to me for the Rupina La Pass trek; they were right; it was a wonderful recommendation. The guides were well-educated, fluent in English and were able to impart a wealth of knowledge about the local customs. The porters were hospitable, courteous and very attentive, which made our journey feel secure every step of the way.

Dipak Pandey is the managing director, and he kept in close touch with us before and during our trip to ensure all was well. There was a great mix of camping and staying at lodges, and the organization of the trip was great. The views were amazing. The 11-day Jomolhari Trek organized by Mountains Rock Treks was truly a cultural and natural experience in the lap of Bhutan’s cultural and natural opulence. A tough hike, no doubt. The wealth of knowledge our guide shared about his native culture brought that meaning to the trek. It's not easy also to just get onto a tour where such warm folks man the outing with you.

Mountain Rock Treks delivered an exceptional Chandragiri Day Tour with a twist. Our guide expertly pointed out mountain peaks and narrated cultural lore, such as the Bhaleshwor Mahadev Temple’s mythological roots. We added zip–lining at the summit, and the guide made sure safety and fun were balanced perfectly. The group felt well-supported: timely pickups, local lunch, and cable‑car tickets managed by the team. It was thrilling, insightful, and very personal. Highly suggested for both first-timers and repeat visitors.

I had dreamt of visiting Tilicho Lake, but I only had a week's vacation from work, and trekking the whole way was not something I could do with that time. Mountain Rock Treks organized a jeep drive for the first half which helped us save time as well as great fun too. The drive was bumpy but enjoyable, and after an hour or so, we found ourselves walking in beautiful landscapes with towering Annapurna Mountains on either side of us. We did not find any viewpoints boring on this trip, as Mingma kept giving us information about each peak and lake along the trail. And then, when we reached Tilicho, there were no words that could express how splendid it looked. Things were arranged smoothly by the Company, and everything went on perfectly. If you have little time in Nepal and still would like to visit this place, then definitely go for this option. 

My Short Luxury Journey to Everest with Mountain Rock Treks was nothing short of spectacular. The helicopter ride from Kathmandu to Lukla got us off the beaten path right from the start. Overnight at Hotel Everest View, luxury at 3880m, will be cherished forever. The flight to Kala Patthar brought us so close to Everest and its neighbors - truly a once-in-a-lifetime! The helicopter back to Kathmandu concluded this great experience. Mountain Rock Treks provided a service par excellence. Their knowledge, attention to detail and professionalism exceeded all expectations.
