If you’re looking for a luxury adventure, this is the trek to do. Mountain Rock Treks made my dreams of the Himalayas come true, decked out in platinum fashion - I can’t say enough good things. The Everest Luxury Kongde Trek with heli return was beyond amazing. Mountain Rock Treks completely surpassed our expectations. Hiking through quiet trails and then hopping in a helicopter over Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar is truly one-of-a-kind. Our guide was so personable and knowledgeable that we felt safe and in good hands the whole time. The accommodations were luxurious, and the food was delicious. The helicopter ride back to Kathmandu - wow. Seeing Everest as we flew out of base camp was an experience we will never forget.

We used a jeep for part of the track to conserve energy, and it was one of the most awesome off-road rides we have ever done. The trek itself was stunning, with Tilicho Lake being the highlight of the journey. Right from logistics to stay, everything was taken care of brilliantly. To take advantage of limited vacation days to view the world's highest lake, a 6-day itinerary including a jeep ride is a necessity! It is extremely time-consuming, and I was quite happy Mr. Dipak was amenable to our wishes and flexible with the trip arrangements. An excellent team makeup, from driver to guide, at a very fair price. Overall, a truly professional operation in Kathmandu.

The most unforgettable experience that I ever had with Mountain Rock Treks was with the Pokhara Valley tour. Since my arrival, this team ensured that everything flowed well and was well-organised. Davis Fall was so interesting, and the World Peace Pagoda was great. It was an extra special trip since professionalism and knowledge of the team impart in this fantastic adventure. MountainRock Treks was above and beyond everything I had expected for the ABC 5-day trek. The guide was very informed of the area; not only he told us about the surrounding culture but also nature as we trekked along. The logistics were flawless, from our transport connections to our accommodations, the pace was very manageable, and each night, we had a briefing session giving us a preview of the next day. I feel the groups appreciated the attention given to detail, as it freed us up to just take in the beauty of the experience and deepen relationships with each other. To have the opportunity to witness this centuries-old festival at Tengboche Monastery, in the midst of the Himalayas, is an experience both spiritual and awe-inspiring. The ceremonies, costumes, music and dancing are sights and sounds you will not soon forget. Post festival we trekked to Kala Patthar for sunrise over Everest before continuing to Everest Base Camp. The guides were exceptional – making sure we were all comfortable and able to make the trek. In addition, they held informative talks each night about the Sherpa religion and culture which made the festival more meaningful. This trip delivers adventure + cultural immersion + grandeur of the mountains all in one package. 

I am a photographer, and I wanted the best views of the Himalayas from the air. Mountain Rock Treks' Lukla to Kathmandu helicopter tour delivered. Due to its large windows and single-seat seating, I could appreciate the dramatic scenery, from green valleys to white-capped mountains. The staff was friendly, even retracing some viewpoints for a good shot. It is a great mode by which one can view and maintain Nepal's majesty if a photography enthusiast is the viewer.
