I knew from the time that we picked this adventure that we had picked the right travel operator based on a study of the itineraries. I found Mountain Rock Treks from a travel blog I read.
They took care of all of the difficult permits and arranged everything so we hardly felt like we were adventuring in Tibet. Our Lhasa guide, Tenzin, had great knowledge of all of the places we visited.
I found this company from all the great reviews on Trip Advisor, and they did not disappoint. From start to finish, the team was extremely professional and kind. The price of the package was very reasonable without any hidden costs, making it extremely worth what you were getting. My guide was fantastic! He was full of knowledge about the peaks as well as ensuring my comfort throughout the trip. All staff involved were also able to help us with our airport pickups as well as flight arrangements when required. Overall, not only was this trek such a beautiful view after views of Everest, Cho You, etc, but it is also such a wonderful company to get support from while you are in Nepal.
Luxury Everest view trek with Mountain Rock Treks was a memorable trip of a lifetime. From the beginning, everything was organised perfectly by the team and it went very smoothly. Our guide Pasang was amazing and looked after us so well while giving us an insight into the region also. The trek itself is not too difficult but enough to be able to see the beauty of Everest without rushing around. The Hotel Everest View is out of this world, I have never seen views like it and the hotel is beautiful with everything you could need. Every part from the flights to Nepal, helicopter ride, half day tour around Kathmandu and wise words of Pasang were all included in this luxurious package.
The tour in Pokhara was never to be forgotten with Mountain Rock Treks. It all began with sunrise from Sarangkot-the breathtaking view of the Annapurna range. The team was very professional, ensuring we enjoyed every moment of the tour. Not to mention boating on Phewa Lake and visiting the World Peace Pagoda, the accommodations arrangements were comfortable, and the food was delicious. It went smoothly and hassle-free due to Mountain Rock Treks. We will surely return one day and see more of Nepal with them.
Mountain Rock Treks was recommended to me by a friend, and they did not disappoint. The price of the package was more than reasonable considering how well organized and supportive this company is. Our guide, Dawa, took incredible care of us, making sure we were safe, happy, healthy, and able to immerse ourselves in the Himalayas without worrying about anything else when we weren’t trekking. From our airport pick-up upon arrival to helping us find places to rent gear we hadn’t brought with us (specifically sleeping bags), this team’s hospitality can’t be beaten. Not to mention that the trail you hike with this trekking trip also has views of Everest, Cho Oyu, and Gokyo lakes, which are breathtakingly beautiful in person.
Our Annapurna Base Camp trip with Mountain Rock Treks was nothing less than amazing. The scenery was, of course, breathtaking—but it was the people that made the experience.
Our guide, Prabin, and porter Rajan, both went above and beyond every day to keep us motivated, smiling, and safe. The logistics were seamless, and the tea houses were all chosen with purpose and comfort in mind.
We also appreciated the little thoughtful touches—hot tea at all the right moments or a little word of encouragement on the steep climbs. A wonderful group that we will use again.
The helicopter transfer from Kathmandu to Lukla was smooth and thrilling, and what a way it was to bypass the regular trekking challenges. Hotel Everest View is an entire luxury property amid the mountains. Sleeping in the heart of the Himalayas for a night opened memories of some fairy tales. The helicopter tour we took up further from Kala Patthar got literally within touchable distance of Mount Everest. I still can’t believe it actually happened—it felt like a dream. Every detail of our journey was well thought out, and the hospitality was next level. If you want to explore Everest in style and luxury—just go for Mountain Rock Treks.
I found Mountain Rock Treks on an online forum, and I thought I'd book the Nepal-Bhutan tour. I was impressed with the logistics and other support in Bhutan. The guides were helpful and knowledgeable. I was so impressed to have a cultural experience combined with nature's beauty and will never forget the trip.
