I had dreamt of visiting Tilicho Lake, but I only had a week's vacation from work, and trekking the whole way was not something I could do with that time. Mountain Rock Treks organized a jeep drive for the first half which helped us save time as well as great fun too. The drive was bumpy but enjoyable, and after an hour or so, we found ourselves walking in beautiful landscapes with towering Annapurna Mountains on either side of us. We did not find any viewpoints boring on this trip, as Mingma kept giving us information about each peak and lake along the trail. And then, when we reached Tilicho, there were no words that could express how splendid it looked. Things were arranged smoothly by the Company, and everything went on perfectly. If you have little time in Nepal and still would like to visit this place, then definitely go for this option. 

My Short Luxury Journey to Everest with Mountain Rock Treks was nothing short of spectacular. The helicopter ride from Kathmandu to Lukla got us off the beaten path right from the start. Overnight at Hotel Everest View, luxury at 3880m, will be cherished forever. The flight to Kala Patthar brought us so close to Everest and its neighbors - truly a once-in-a-lifetime! The helicopter back to Kathmandu concluded this great experience. Mountain Rock Treks provided a service par excellence. Their knowledge, attention to detail and professionalism exceeded all expectations.

We did the Everest Base Camp Trek, with returning by Helicopter by Mountain Rock Treks was a luxurious once-in-a-lifetime holiday. The trek was challenging but well worth it... the views of the Himalayas Nam Che Bazaar, and other little villages were amazing. And then to get to Base Camp and jump into the Helicopter was simply a fairytale, seeing glaciers on both sides.. mountain tops at 7000m... and 8000 m. The best part is we saved a lot of time. Our guides/porters were very professional/funny/knowledgeable & helpful. Mountain Rock Treks made sure we Enjoyed every moment of this.

Personalized attention one on one by Mr. Dipak was offered at every process at every step. Technical skills and understanding in every step of the climb were provided to us by Guide Suman. His counseling was the motivation behind the success of our group. We all, along with ourselves, reached the summit. It was worth climbing to the top. My trip to Kailash Mansarovar with Mountain Rock Treks was a dream realized. It was a trip of deep spiritual significance for me and I was impressed by their commitment to making the journey comfortable but respectful. We had enough time for pujas; Charan Sparsh and the guides shared their understanding of customs /traditions relating to Mount Kailash. It was wonderful to see how so many non-Indians were equally moved by the ambience. The supporting staff was efficient and caring even during some tough parts of trekking. I came back spiritually enriched, thanks to a well-planned yatra! Would recommend Mountain Rock Treks to all for the Kailash tour. 

The Champadevi Day Hike with Mountain Rock Treks was booked after my trek in Nepal. The company was super professional, and the cost was reasonable in comparison to other companies I looked at. The hike is very standard in that there were great landscapes, and quiet, and the views of the valley and the Himalayas were fantastic. The guide was approachable and supportive. This short trip gave me the chance to see nature just outside of Kathmandu, which was worth it.    

Our trip to Annapurna Base Camp with the Mountain Rock Treks team was simply amazing.  Everything was organized flawlessly from starting in Kathmandu through the airports, lodges, and meals. 

From a scenic point of view, there was nothing to match: the views were out of this world, and with the Mountain Rock Treks team, it was top-notch, using all the above criteria - if you want to have a seamless, memorable adventure, I would highly recommend Mountain Rock Treks.

We did the hike as a family (with kids), and they provided us with a guide, Ramesh. He was great with the kids and moved at a slow enough pace that everyone was comfortable with.

The company was very safety and comfort-oriented, which contributed to making it a great family outing.
