My trip to Kailash Mansarovar with Mountain Rock Treks was a dream realized. It was a trip of deep spiritual significance for me and I was impressed by their commitment to making the journey comfortable but respectful. We had enough time for pujas; Charan Sparsh and the guides shared their understanding of customs /traditions relating to Mount Kailash. It was wonderful to see how so many non-Indians were equally moved by the ambience. The supporting staff was efficient and caring even during some tough parts of trekking. I came back spiritually enriched, thanks to a well-planned yatra! Would recommend Mountain Rock Treks to all for the Kailash tour. 

The Champadevi Day Hike with Mountain Rock Treks was booked after my trek in Nepal. The company was super professional, and the cost was reasonable in comparison to other companies I looked at. The hike is very standard in that there were great landscapes, and quiet, and the views of the valley and the Himalayas were fantastic. The guide was approachable and supportive. This short trip gave me the chance to see nature just outside of Kathmandu, which was worth it.    

Our trip to Annapurna Base Camp with the Mountain Rock Treks team was simply amazing.  Everything was organized flawlessly from starting in Kathmandu through the airports, lodges, and meals. 

From a scenic point of view, there was nothing to match: the views were out of this world, and with the Mountain Rock Treks team, it was top-notch, using all the above criteria - if you want to have a seamless, memorable adventure, I would highly recommend Mountain Rock Treks.

We did the hike as a family (with kids), and they provided us with a guide, Ramesh. He was great with the kids and moved at a slow enough pace that everyone was comfortable with.

The company was very safety and comfort-oriented, which contributed to making it a great family outing.

The Gokyo Chola Pass Trek from EBC was the adventure of a lifetime. I had already trekked with Mountain Rock Treks on the Annapurna Circuit, so trekking with them again was not even a question for me. This trek is challenging, especially crossing over the icy paths to Chola Pass but, but worth every step. The beautiful Gokyo Lakes and the view from Gokyo, RI, were absolutely amazing. The guide knew everything about the area and how to acclimatize us as best as possible to not get altitude sick. Having porters made all the difference, too. Mountain Rock Treks yet again put together a great experience for us. Can't wait to plan my next trek with them.

We had to turn around from the summit due to the weather. Weather is unpredictable in the mountains and something that I will need to learn to accept, especially as a newer hiker.

Mountain Rock Treks' team acted professionally in providing updates and plan modifications to ensure we all got to the summit while also keeping safety in mind and extending our trip.

The change they facilitated through flexibility and communication compared to normal touristic practice was to transfer an anxious time towards a safe outdoor experience.

Their trip organisation was superb, from all of the perfect transfers to a great schedule with thoughtfully placed rest days. Our lead guides were not only strong climbers but also really fun and encouraging company in the hardest moments. The acclimatisation was perfectly gradual, and I never felt too exhausted or too out of breath along the way. The summit day is super difficult but amazing, and the view from the top is outstanding. 

As a vegetarian, I was quite apprehensive about how direct food would be an issue for me in Tibet. However, Mountain Rock Treks assisted me with many of the flavourful vegetarian meals to order at every stop. I had a friendly and helpful driver and guide, who also ensured that I received everything that was relative to food and dietary requests - which went on quite well to an enjoyable experience.
