  • Family-Friendly Trekking with Stunning Everest Views

Everest View Trekking with Mountain Rock Treks was just what our family needed. We had older parents and young kids in the group and hence could not do a full-on trek. This trip offered spectacular views of Everest without breaking much sweat. The lodges were cozy, the helicopter ride to Lukla, which we opted for instead of the Lukla flight, is something we will never forget, and our guide went out of his way to make it enjoyable for all of us-trail pace plans etc. Views of Everest from Tengboche/Cultural Namche Bazaar-wow. This is a great trek for a family or even elders wanting a short and easy hike around Everest.

  • Breathtaking Views from Chulu East

Going to Chulu East Peak with Mountain Rock Treks was one of the most memorable ones I ever had. The effort on safety was apparent from the beginning, with high-standard equipment and utmost screening of health fitness. Our guide, Madan, knew so much about the mountain, its geography and its history. The trail to base camp was filled with gorgeous sights and culturally informative lessons. In camp, the food was better than what one would expect in quite a desolate area. It was physically demanding but extremely gratifying, too, a day we attempted to summit. The panoramic view from the top was truly stunning.

  • Unforgettable Encounters in Kathmandu

Going on the UNESCO Seven World Heritage tour with Mountain Rock Treks opened up a new world that surpassed my expectations. As our tour organiser, Dipak saw that all the required details were taken care of from start to end. Every site visit was a trip through the "gates of the past," an opportunity to unravel the religious, artistic, and community values that have held together the country's people.Dipak selected our guide, who had a comprehensive knowledge of Nepal’s history, and he not only recited it with enthusiasm but also made his stories and facts easy to understand. Going around the sacred Pashupatinath Temple and royal spaces like Kathmandu, Patan, and Bhaktapur Durbar squares, my cultural mindset was at its best, exchanging my experience for Nepalese culture. I highly recommend this tour with Mountain Rock Treks for the best experience.

  • A Perfect Day in Kathmandu: 7 UNESCO Sites Explored

Knowing that I had only a day in Kathmandu Valley, I wanted to explore the best parts of the city before my flight to my home county. That's why I booked the 7-day UNESCO World Heritage Tour with Mountain Rock Treks. Dipak provides me with the best services at the best cost. Our guide, Ram, was always beneficial. In addition to the tight schedule, the program for the full day went smoothly without any hassle. We reached every UNESCO site the city boasts, such as Boudhanath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square, etc. We also went off the main track to explore the tranquil hidden places like Changu Narayan Temple. I highly recommend this trip to travellers with a day to spare in Kathmandu.

  • Exploring Kathmandu's UNESCO

Our family of four (parents and two teenagers) was initially worried about this day tour. However, Mountain Rock Treks' UNESCO tour was the perfect mix of cultural exploration and family fun. Our guide, Mr. Ram, was a master at engaging all age groups.  The itinerary was thoughtfully curated, offering enough historical information to satisfy our curiosity without overwhelming the kids. We explored grand temples like Swayambhunath, marvelled at the intricate carvings of Patan Durbar Square, and even witnessed the death rituals at the Cremation site.

  • Nepal's Spiritual Majesty

Our route was thoughtful, and we visited all the major pilgrimage sites without haste. Our B&B was a clean and cosy place to stay, which provided a restful haven after each day of trekking. Indeed, it was still the staff of the Mountain Rock Treks that had a much greater influence on the experience. They were also caring and attentive to us and our needs, and they were always ready to keep things safe and effectively answer all the questions asked. The vegetarian meals that suited my dietary requirements and the vans that were for the Hiace class provided a smooth ride to each destination.

  • Breathtaking Sights and Time-Saving Convenience

We chose to go from Namche to Kathmandu by helicopter once we had completed our way to the Everest Base Camp. It was on Mountain Rock Treks that we could count for the smoothest experience. Not only did this save us two days by avoiding the Lukla flight drama, but it also allowed us extra time back in Kathmandu. During the flight, we were soaring high above the Himalayas, which offered us an opportunity to watch the fantastic landscapes of the Everest region. It’s just an awesome final touch for our trip.

  • A Day Tour Filled with Awe

When I travel solo, I always worry about being the only person on group tours. Surprisingly, the UNESCO tour of Mountain Rock Treks was entirely different. We got a family-like atmosphere, as the group members were small (only 8 of us). Our guide, Dipak, was a gem. He was incredibly knowledgeable about each site. The itinerary was well planned, perfectly balancing cultural immersion and personal exploration. We visited all the iconic sites, from the majestic Swayambhunath Stupa to the serene Boudhanath Stupa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the largest stupas in Nepal.
