I am a photographer, and I wanted the best views of the Himalayas from the air. Mountain Rock Treks' Lukla to Kathmandu helicopter tour delivered. Due to its large windows and single-seat seating, I could appreciate the dramatic scenery, from green valleys to white-capped mountains. The staff was friendly, even retracing some viewpoints for a good shot. It is a great mode by which one can view and maintain Nepal's majesty if a photography enthusiast is the viewer.

Mountain Rock Treks made my 12-day Everest Base Camp Trek a memorable journey. The whole team was very professional and caring; they took care of every little thing. Our guide, Dilman, was amazing. He shared a lot of information on the Khumbu region and took good care of our safety and health. The porters, Suk and Bukta, were like God sent angels for us as they carried our stuff with smiling faces and encouraging words throughout the trek. Beautiful landscapes plus team members’ company made me feel that every step I took during the trek was worth it. I would say the time/money spent is worth it all. Thank you, Team Mountain Rock Treks! You guys are awesome. 

From the first contact, their communication was prompt and professional with Dipak. The price was fair and all-inclusive, so we didn't have to worry about anything. Our guide Ningma was amazing and friendly and took care of us every step (or steep incline) of the way. Ningma adjusted quickly when we had to change our plan for weather conditions not once but twice during the trek. The scenery on this trek is beautiful, with stunning lakes and Himalayan views around each corner, but keep in mind nothing comes easy above 4000 m. That's where your guide really comes into play, taking care of everything so you can enjoy this experience. Mountain Rock Treks is a top-notch company that I would use again in the future.

I joined a group of four other trekkers for the Everest Base Camp Trek via Jiri with Mountain Rock Treks at 40, and what an experience. Availed through a friend, and I contacted them directly and made the booking. They were quite straightforward, and their staff was so responsive and helpful; they answered every question I had in as much detail as possible. It was a very fair price for the trek and included everything, which helped with all the planning stress, from the permits to the meals they had covered. This was what really made this trip, though: professional-their team was in and out. Our guide not only knew the trail but kept us up and motivated when we wanted to quit. The Jiri trail gave us an opportunity to see Nepal in its most authentic state, culturally and naturally, too. 

My Ama Dablam Base Camp trek with Mountain Rock Treks was the trip of a lifetime. The hike to Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar was difficult but well worth it. The guides were very knowledgeable and caring, making sure we were safe and comfortable along the way. Standing on top of Kala Patthar at sunrise and seeing Everest up close and personal, shining golden in the sun, is something I will never forget. I felt very supported by the team to help make my dream of hiking at such high altitudes come true. The accommodations and food were great, even in more remote places, and our porters went above and beyond – they are amazing. I highly recommend Mountain Rock Treks for their expertise as well as that personal touch. This adventure surpassed all my expectations.

We had our tour to Pokhara memorable with Mountain Rock Treks. We enjoyed Davis Fall sightseeing and relaxed by riding boats on Phewa Lake. The view from the World Peace Pagoda was something out of this world, as was the sunrise over Sarangkot. This friendly team attends to every small detail, making the journey smooth and enjoyable. We are so happy we chose Mountain Rock Treks for this adventure. We will always recommend this team to any visitor in Nepal. Thank you for these amazing memories.

We experienced a little bit of a hiccup with our group being accommodated in one hotel, as it was overbooked, but Mountain Rock Treks organised another hotel in no time at all. 

The guides were energetic and bilingual as they guided our group through the uniqueness of Bhutan's culture, and I can't speak highly enough of this company with respect to their professionalism and caring.

A good friend recommended Mountain Rock Treks to me for the Rupina La Pass trek; they were right; it was a wonderful recommendation. The guides were well-educated, fluent in English and were able to impart a wealth of knowledge about the local customs. The porters were hospitable, courteous and very attentive, which made our journey feel secure every step of the way.

Dipak Pandey is the managing director, and he kept in close touch with us before and during our trip to ensure all was well. There was a great mix of camping and staying at lodges, and the organization of the trip was great. The views were amazing. This company is very dedicated to their customers' safety and overall experience.
