As an avid traveller, I rarely review places on Tripadvisor. However, there is one experience I must share. After thorough research, I booked a tour with Mountain Rock Treks. Everything went smoothly from the moment of booking to the final airport pickup after our helicopter returned from Lukla. Our contact person, Deepak, was fantastic, meeting us beforehand to address any concerns. Although there was a minor delay on the return flight due to air traffic and weather, it was beyond the agency's control. Overall, I give this experience a perfect 10/10. 

Mountain Rock Treks provided the most unbelievably and authentic trek experience that I have ever had. We completed Annapurna Base Camp with Guide Sandeep and Assistant Guide Niraj.

Our porters, Milan, Raj, and Kumar, carried much more than our pack; they carried our spirit. From the moment we landed in Kathmandu, the logistics, safety briefings, and trail support were incredible.

Sandeep was steady while I was pushing through the altitude struggles, and the encouragement from everyone was motivating. I would not have made it without them.

Their passion for the mountains and commitment to trekkers is admirable, and I don't think there is another group that is comparable. An unforgettable experience; thank you, Mountain Rock Treks.

I secured an exceptional Budget Everest Base Camp Heli Return deal via a trustworthy travel agency, and their exceptional service blew me away. The choppers they utilized were in top-notch condition, and their pilots were highly proficient and approachable, instilling confidence in us for the entire expedition. The cost was remarkably reasonable, which was a delightful surprise for me, as someone always keen on cutting expenses.

My journey with Mountain Rock Langtang Valley trekking and heli return package was extraordinary. Despite the trek's challenges, the breathtaking vistas compensated for the effort expended. The region's unparalleled beauty left us completely captivated. The helicopter journey back was undoubtedly the pinnacle of the trip, offering a unique perspective on the landscape that etched an unforgettable memory in our minds. Our guide and, of course, Mt. Deepak, being incredibly knowledgeable, provided invaluable assistance throughout our trek. MRT's accommodations and cuisine were of the highest quality, ensuring we felt content and rejuvenated daily. 

Mountain Rock Treks hosted us as their genuine house guests. The trips to Nepal and Bhutan were both enjoyable. Nepal reminded us of a Hindu monarchy, with many temples all around. Pokhara was a stunningly lovely and natural city. We took in the sunrise from Sarangkot hill. This city's lakes and trees are beautiful. We had an amazing time in Bhutan since the MRT team took excellent care of us and accommodated our requests. They also gave some very good options that proved far superior to what we had originally intended. The Company performed admirably and exceeded our expectations. 

 

I must say, it was an amazing experience! The guide and porters were excellent, the group was lovely, and the scenery was simply breathtaking. However, I must admit that despite being over 50, I had never gone trekking before. I did a lot of walking to prepare myself. I realized that what would have really helped me the most was climbing up and down stairs daily, as much as I could bear. Hill and mountain hiking is a fantastic way to prepare for a trek, and practising it daily would have been ideal. But all in all, the experience was definitely worth the effort!

Greeted warmly by Mountain Rock Treks, we were welcomed to our hotel with open arms. Excited about our Everest Heli Tour, our guide briefed us before we boarded the helicopter. Awe-inspiring views of the Himalayan ranges and valleys filled our spirits as we trekked to Everest Base Camp from Lukla. The experience left a lasting impression on us. We returned home with a newfound appreciation for nature and adventure. An unforgettable adventure of a lifetime.

 

The 12-day trek to Everest Base Camp was an unforgettable adventure. From airport pick-up to scheduling the Lukla flights, their focus on detail made the journey hassle-free. My guide, Dawa, was like a gem. He expertly covered the difficult path with fatherlike warmth. I fully recommend him as a guide for those looking for an extraordinary journey. If given the option, I would appoint Deepak and Dawa for re-journey without a second thought.
