From the very beginning, Deepak’s excellent coordination and constant support created a smooth adventure. On the four-day trek and heli tour, we witnessed magnificent scenes despite unpredictable climatic conditions. Our guide, Dawa, not only revealed deep knowledge but added a layer of humorous relatability, which made the journey both educational and pleasant. A highlight was the luxury accommodations, which provided comfort while the Himalayan landscapes surrounded me. I was impressed by the scenic flight to Lukla and the heli tour of Kala Patthar, which offered a different viewpoint of Everest. I would gladly repeat this brilliant trip if I had the opportunity.

I did the 12-day Everest Base Camp Trek with Mountain Rock Treks in November, and it was incredible. I have limited vacation days each year, so this itinerary was perfect for me. The guides kept us on schedule but also let us take in every single breathtaking moment of our trip. We made it to Base Camp (in only 12 days) without feeling rushed, and the views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and the Khumbu Glacier were nothing short of amazing. Everything was very well run, from hotels to meals to flights. I’m so glad that I booked this adventure with Mountain Rock Trek. They really made everything easygoing and fun. Highly recommend it if you have a tight schedule. 

Mountains Rock Treks The Local tour operator In Nepal of the 11-day Jomolhari Trek was faultless. The trek through ecosystems from dense forest to high-altitude pasture was challenging but stunning, and the views at the foot of Mount Jomolhari were awesome. Our guide shared his understanding of local culture and customs, making this as much a cultural journey as that of physical endurance., but with Mountains Rock Treks' professionalism and eye for detail we had an amazing trip.

It was not an easy peak to climb, but at the same time, it was really rewarding. Our guide, Sam, knew a lot and supported us during the rise. On top, there was a breathtaking panorama of snow-capped peaks all over, as far as your eye could see. The equipment was great; much attention was paid to safety. We highly valued the detailed pre-climb briefing and acclimatisation schedule. The friendship among us made the hard moments tolerable.Very recommended for experienced climbers who are looking for the next conquest. The attention to detail by the company in every aspect of the trip was particularly commendable.

It hardly gets any better than this to soak up the joys of rural Nepal – and gently walking the three or so miles down from Nagarkot (2195m asl) to Changu Narayan (1500m asl), which is the world’s oldest Hindu temple, has to be the best option.

Not to forget, after the trek, we were free to wander around Bhaktapur's main square in the evening and return the next day for some pottery or metalwork shopping. This was a great day, mixing a natural experience with local culture and history.

The Everest Luxury Kongde Trek with Mountain Rock Treks was simply unforgettable. Hiking through the Himalayas and then being flown back over the top of them in a helicopter really was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Our guide made sure we had everything we needed and informed us about so many interesting things about the area, its culture and its history. The lodges were warm, comfortable and for how remote they are, incredibly luxurious! The helicopter flight back to Kathmandu over Everest & Kala Patthar was jaw-dropping – I could have stared out of that window all day. I honestly couldn’t recommend an adventure holiday more, especially as this trip comes with such great service from Mountain Rock Treks, who honestly couldn’t have done enough to make sure we had an amazing time. Bucket list stuff, guys. 

Before I got my permits, I looked into over 5 different trekking agencies. Some were definitely better on the service side than others, and Mountain Rock Treks had a whole different thing going on.. The excitement and overwhelming amount of information blew me away.

Everything was easily laid out, and competitive pricing was offered. But wait, there's more. My guide was incredible; he coupled infectious enthusiasm with extensive information, but had an amazing caring and deeper level that was insightful. I can't comment on many others' treks, but I will say I believe the MRT team was second to none for sure for the Three Passes trek.

From start to finish, the journey was filled with breathtaking landscapes, cultural encounters, and exceptional service provided by the team at Mountain Rock. Mr Deepak planned our tour impeccably. He and his team ensured that every detail was handled, from arranging the necessary permits to providing top-notch equipment for the biking adventure. This level of professionalism gave me great confidence in their ability to deliver an outstanding experience.
