The journey from Kathmandu to Lukla by helicopter with Mountain Rock Treks was exceptional. The awe-inspiring sight of the Himalayas and the smoothness of the organisation of this trip added to the fun. The booking process was quick and smooth, showing the company's dedication to satisfying its customers. The helicopter ride offered a rare angle of the landscapes below and was a necessity for adrenaline junkies. Climbing the Annapurna Peak (Thorong La) was something I never thought I could achieve, but it became a reality for me last month. With the help of my amazing crew, I conquered the uphill battle through snow and mountains. Looking back, the journey was so seamless that I barely noticed myself climbing the peak.

Throughout the trek, we were under the expert guidance of Guide Dawa Deepak, the owner of Mountain Rock Treks. His impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail ensured that everything went smoothly. He provided us with timely information and managed the logistics professionally. Puru's honesty and punctuality made a lasting impression on us. Now, let's talk about the return journey by helicopter. Yes, it sounds like an option with a higher price tag, but it was relatively cheaper with Mountain Rock Treks. As the helicopter lifted off, we found ourselves face to face with Mount Everest. Being so close to the world's highest peak was awe-inspiring. This option is perfect for those with limited time or who prefer to avoid hiking downhill but still want to experience the magic.

On the much-anticipated day of the tour, I anxiously awaited the hotel pickup, brimming with excitement. Right on schedule, the vehicle arrived, and that's when I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Deepak, our experienced pilot. His professional demeanour instilled in me a sense of security and confidence as we embarked on our flight. The good news is that we were incredibly fortunate with the weather conditions. A breathtakingly clear blue sky unveiled the magnificence of Mount Everest from both Kallapattar and the Everest View Hotel. 

As an avid traveller, I rarely review places on Tripadvisor. However, there is one experience I must share. After thorough research, I booked a tour with Mountain Rock Treks. Everything went smoothly from the moment of booking to the final airport pickup after our helicopter returned from Lukla. Our contact person, Deepak, was fantastic, meeting us beforehand to address any concerns. Although there was a minor delay on the return flight due to air traffic and weather, it was beyond the agency's control. Overall, I give this experience a perfect 10/10.

Our porters, Milan, Raj, and Kumar, carried much more than our pack; they carried our spirit. From the moment we landed in Kathmandu, the logistics, safety briefings, and trail support were incredible.

Sandeep was steady while I was pushing through the altitude struggles, and the encouragement from everyone was motivating. I would not have made it without them.
