I was definitely taken aback by the cost of the tour when I booked it – it was incredibly friendly on my wallet. For the Heli-Return tour, I was expecting to pay a hefty dollar amount. The view from Pheriche was stunning, and I would love to visit again and chat with the hospitable Sherpas. Interacting with the locals taught me about their history, while the monasteries around Pangboche and Tengboche touched my heart. I recently went on the Mera Peak and Ski Back Expedition with Mountain Rock Treks, and it was an incredible experience. The views from the summit of Mera Peak were breathtaking, and skiing back down was an adrenaline rush like no other. The guides were experienced and made sure we were safe every step of the way. The accommodations and food were also top-notch. I highly recommend this package to anyone looking for a challenging yet rewarding adventure. 

Booking was simple, and the company promptly contacted me after I made the reservation. They provided helpful tips before the flight. Although we were concerned about the weather during our flight to Lukla, it gradually improved as we ascended. Landing in Kala Pattar was a breathtaking experience. We witnessed numerous mountains, including Mount Everest, right before us—an unbelievable sight. If you're planning a trip to Nepal and want to see the Himalayas, I highly recommend the Everest base camp helicopter tour with MRT. 

I experienced this amazing trek and found other sections of the Himalayan highlands with the great guidance and knowledge of Deepak from MRT over a 19-day tour beginning in Phaplu. This is a terrific opportunity to stay in shape, meet wonderful locals, eat organic food (Dhal Bat Takari...), explore distant and amazing landscapes, experience wildlife and colorful plants, and feel the energy of flowing rivers and waterfalls. I recommend hiking in the Himalayas at the proper time of year, as the weather can drastically affect your encounter with the mountains. I visited here in November, and we had clear skies every day, so we had magnificent vistas of the many imposing mountains that make up this distinct landscape.
