As an experienced hiker and skier, I sought a package that would physically and mentally challenge me. The Mera Peak and Ski Back Expedition Package were delivered! The climb up Mera Peak was challenging but rewarding, and the skiing back down was a thrilling experience. The views from the top of the mountain were breathtaking, and I felt like I was on top of the world. The helicopter journey from Kathmandu to Lukla provided an effortless means to explore the remote Himalayas. As a traveller, I harboured doubts regarding this aerial adventure, as it was my inaugural experience aboard a helicopter. To be honest, I felt a sense of trepidation. However, the pilot and the ground crew worked diligently to assuage my fears, creating an atmosphere of tranquillity.
I chose to go on my 12-day Everest Base Camp Trek with the local operator Mountain Rock Treks after reading many reviews, and I'm glad I did. Before traveling to Nepal, Dipendra responded without hesitation to all of my questions. Lakpa, our porter, and Rabindra, our guide, were both friendly and caring individuals who would do anything to help. With the help of the entire crew, it was the best 15 days ever. It was the best 15 days ever, thanks to the efforts of the whole team of Mountain Rock Treks.
The exceptional customer service provided by Mountain Rock Treks is second to none. Having trekked and climbed with them multiple times, I am always astounded by their top-notch service. From the company owner, Mr. Deepak, to the trip planner and the world's best guide, Mr. Aangdawa, they all ensure you feel like a part of their family throughout your dealings or travels with them. Their polite, patient, and professional approach sets the standard for this company. You always feel that you are not alone and someone is there to take care of any issues that arise during your trekking or climbing journey. This gives you peace of mind, allowing you to focus on your task.
Three weeks ago, I was at the eighth-highest mountain in the world, Mt. Manalsu, standing at 8,163 meters. Living at a high altitude for more than 35 days around the beautiful Himalayan view was an unbelievable experience and a fantastic feeling. I was fortunate to be a member of a unique team of super-powerful and skilled climbers led by our highly capable leader, Mr. Dawa Sherpa. He is an expert that has even reached the top of Everest twice. I enjoyed every single moment. I thank everyone who supported this idea and made it a reality. Thank you, Mr. Dipak Pandey, the expedition organizer, and my climbing partners, whom I became very good friends with Myra Gross, Marsh Harrett, Travis Kennedy, Kenton, and Mel.
In addition to their excellent service, Mountain Rock Treks ensures you have the best possible accommodation in Kathmandu or on the trek. They always go the extra mile, providing fresh fruits after dinner. I have not seen anyone else doing that. I am immensely grateful and appreciative of Mountain Rock Treks for all these reasons. I highly recommend the Mountain Rock Treks trekking company to anyone interested in visiting Nepal for sightseeing, trekking, or climbing. This is a five-star company that is reliable.
I undertook a 9-day trek to Everest Base Camp with Mountain Rock and our excellent Guide, Aangdawa Sherpa. We explored several charming villages, rivers, and waterfalls en route to Everest and the Khumbu Valley. Our Guide meticulously prepared us for each day's trek and monitored our acclimatisation progress at high altitudes. We enjoyed awe-inspiring views from Base Camp and Kala Patthar thanks to the excellent weather conditions. To return from Gorakshep, we opted for a helicopter arranged by Mountain Rock Treks.
We booked our Chitwan Luxury holiday package through Mountain Rock Trek and participated in a number of very enjoyable jungle tours. Our tour was fantastic, and he knew everything about the park. I appreciated the walks, during which we observed a rhino, a tiger paw print, deer, crocodiles, a variety of birds, and a python. Our guide made it a point to warn us that wearing brightly colored apparel (on any of the activities) could be harmful. A few canoe journeys that were a lot of fun, with lots of crocodiles and bird life. The canoes are traditional, carved from a single tree, and sit low in the water. Anyone with limited mobility would have a difficult time getting in and sitting down.
