The view was breathtaking, and the culture of the Khumbu valley was rich and fascinating. The Island Peak climb itself was a challenging but rewarding experience. Standing at 6,189 meters (20,305 feet) requires a high level of physical fitness and proper acclimatization. The climb involves a mix of hiking and scrambling over rocky terrain, and a trained guide is essential for your safety.

Throughout the trek, we were accompanied by knowledgeable and experienced guides, Ram and Vivek, who ensured that our journey was safe and enjoyable. They provided valuable insights into the culture and history of the region and were a pleasure to spend time with.

 

I had an incredible adventure in 2023 when I travelled to Everest Base Camp in Nepal. I chose to do the trek with Mountain Rock Treks, which was a fantastic experience. I embarked on this journey in March, and it was breathtaking! During the trek, I had the most knowledgeable guide who shared fascinating information about the Nepalese Himalayas, the local culture, and the diverse vegetation. It was like having my encyclopaedia on hand! The tour organiser, Deepak, was fantastic. He knew exactly how to plan and organise tours and treks, and he suggested a brilliant idea: trekking to Everest Base Camp and returning by helicopter. This way, we saw the majestic Himalayas and Mount Everest from the air and the ground. Plus, it saved us from trekking back.

Dawa was a fantastic guide and a friendly and knowledgeable companion. I learned so much from him during our time together. He had a remarkable bond with the local community, which made finding accommodation hassle-free. With his vast trekking experience, we felt completely safe throughout the entire trek. It was truly astonishing to witness the breathtaking views from three different perspectives: trekking to Everest Base Camp and taking in the panoramic sights of the mountains, including the mighty Mount Everest, during our helicopter ride back. I can't recommend Deepak and Mountain Rock Treks enough to fellow travellers passionate about trekking. It was an unforgettable adventure that exceeded all expectations.

However, my previous experience with such highly-rated companies was disappointing due to paid reviews. I looked beyond TripAdvisor and Lonely Planet's guidebook to ensure authenticity. They provided me with the best experience in Everest Base Camp Trekking at an affordable cost. 

The package included top-notch accommodation and comfortable transportation, enhancing the overall experience. The cozy lodges nestled amidst picturesque valleys provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere to rest and rejuvenate after each day's trek. The scenic drives through the winding mountain roads added an element of excitement and allowed us to witness the breathtaking landscapes up close. Therefore I highly recommend this climbing expedition, especially with Mountain Rock Treks, for any climber.

As a traveller seeking spiritual enrichment, the Lumbini Buddhist Circuit Tour was an unforgettable experience that left me in awe. This 7-night, 8-day journey took me on a sacred pilgrimage through the birthplace of Lord Buddha, offering a profound connection to Buddhist history and heritage. From the moment we arrived in Lumbini, I was captivated by the serene atmosphere that enveloped this holy site. The tour was well-organized, with our knowledgeable guide leading us to various significant monasteries and stupas. The Maya Devi Temple, marking the exact birthplace of Buddha, was a deeply moving and meditative spot. Witnessing devout pilgrims offering their prayers and reverence added a sense of authenticity to the experience.

Mountain Rock Treks is the ultimate choice when it comes to trekking and climbing in Nepal. Pradip's impeccable logistics planning left me stunned. The price we paid for the trip included personal tents at base camp, sumptuous meals, comfortable rooms, nightly battery charging, and a host of mountaineering gear like down sleeping bags, jackets, piolets, harnesses, and security devices. Some climbers even received double boots at no extra cost. To top it off, we were gifted a T-shirt and a duffel bag. Due to unforeseen weather conditions, our summit program was delayed by four days, jeopardizing our international flights. However, Depak arranged for us to be airlifted out of the base camp by helicopter. The guides were exceptional and even provided one-on-one support for our climb.

As our trek organisers, Mountain Rock Treks were extremely professional, explaining every detail of the journey before. The package was all-inclusive, affordable, and made to our order. The journey was safe and pleasant because the team provided safety. Therefore, I would encourage anyone visiting the Manaslu region to use MRT services.
