My partner and I had the privilege of trekking through the jaw-dropping scenery of Nepal with the remarkable team of Mountain Rock Treks in October of 2022. What an unforgettable experience it was! We were provided the best service from start to finish, and the food and accommodation were quite pleasant. Every day presented us with an awe-inspiring view as we trekked through the mountains to Everest. The team left no stone unturned in ensuring our tour was truly remarkable. It won't be forgotten for years to come! I would highly recommend this trek to anyone looking to take in the beauty of Nepal.

A long-held dream came true as I ventured to Everest Base Camp last month. I'd been eager to experience this challenge, but wondering if my physical ability would suffice. Luckily, I could work with Mountain Rock Treks and secure the EBC return by helicopter package - the perfect option for me. During the trek, the magnificence of the Everest region was breathtaking, and of course, I could take in all the scenery with friends. To top it off, I returned to Kathmandu by helicopter and got a bird's eye view of the beaten path I had just explored. What an incredible journey!

Our guide, Deepak, combined with his experienced team of Raman and Harish, created a safe, exciting, and unforgettable journey through the vistas of the Himalayas. Not a detail was missed with all the necessary information provided at a prior information night. As a slow-walking group, we were grateful to have Harish join us, providing his knowledge and keenness to make sure we never gave up and enjoyed the experience, but most of all, to keep us safe. With their morale boost and expertise, we soon found ourselves heading closer to Heaven, all the while knowing that the Mountain Rock Treks family was never far away, always ready to check in and ensure we were all in good health. Our expedition to Everest Base Camp with Mountain Rock Treks was an exceptional experience. The team, led by Deepak, addressed our inquiries promptly and thoroughly throughout the early planning phase and pre-trek check. From the moment we arrived in Nepal until our departure, the trek surpassed our expectations in many aspects. These include exceptional guidance and porter services, lodging arrangements, safety protocols, and a well-structured itinerary, facilitating acclimatization for novice trekkers with limited altitude experience, delightful meals, and insightful advice on Nepal, its culture, trekking, and geography, among others. Additionally, the weather conditions were favorable throughout the trek. We thank Mountain Rock Treks for providing us with an outstanding experience.

 

The thrill of preparing to embark on the journey to Mount Everest Base Camp on a helicopter was unparalleled. Choosing to book with Mountain Rock Treks proved a wild ride, with everyone recommending the aircraft as the ultimate and swiftest way to reach the base. With limited time, I made the courageous choice of taking the chopper, and as I write this review, I'm sure I made the right decision. The flight from Kathmandu provided surreal scenery that could not be put into words. The view of the clouds, settlements, and landscape from the aircraft's window is incredible. Our first port of call was the airport of Lukla, where we disembarked to refuel. Then, on to Kala Pattar, where the awe-inspiring 360-degree view of Mount Everest and its surrounding mountains was stunning. If we had trekked, it would have taken more than a week to arrive, yet the helicopter delivered us straight to Kala Pattar in a few minutes. We took many photos to memorialise the unforgettable experience, and the cabin crew was remarkably professional and accommodating. It's clear that Mountain Rock Treks is at the very top of its game in the travel and tourism industry, and every penny we paid them was worth it for the hospitality and beautiful sights. Thank you to Mr. Deepak and his team for making this an exciting ride.

 

I was so excited to take this trek but so intimidated, too. After all, I planned to go on a 19-day. Annapurna Circuit Trek, a tough mountain range in the Himalayas. That is why I decided to go with Mountain Rock Treks for my journey. From start to finish, the experience was fantastic. I should start by talking about the planning and organizing of the trip. The team at Mountain Rock Treks was great with providing detailed information and answering any questions I had. They organized the permits, flights, and transport options and ensured I knew what to bring and any safety concerns related to the trek. The trekking experience with Mountain Rock Treks was top-notch. I was assigned a guide and porter who went above and beyond to ensure I had a great trip. They were incredible mountain guides and shared their wealth of knowledge throughout the trek. They also cared for me and ensured I had plenty of rest, water, and food. Aside from the trek itself, Mountain Rock Treks offered an incredible cultural experience. During the Trekking in Annapurna Circuit journey, through our conversations, I had the chance to meet and interact with the locals from the villages in the region and get to know the people who live in the mountains. At the end of the trek, I felt a real connection with the mountains, thanks to Mountain Rock Treks. 

 

Ascending the challenging trail to Everest Base Camp exceeded my expectations and left me with immense satisfaction. Deepak, the mastermind behind my luxurious trek, ensured top-notch communication, while my trekking guide, Aaangdawa Sherpa, provided unwavering support throughout the journey. From notifying me of daily trekking distance and elevation to ensuring my safety, Aaangdawa  Sherpa truly went above and beyond.

I opted for both trekking to Everest Base Camp and taking a helicopter tour, unable to decide between the two. The trek was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, with its grueling demands ultimately culminating in breathtaking views of Mount Everest from Kalapatar. Meanwhile, the helicopter ride was nothing short of extraordinary - flying close to the mountains felt like a dream come true.
