It was not an easy peak to climb, but at the same time, it was really rewarding. Our guide, Sam, knew a lot and supported us during the rise. On top, there was a breathtaking panorama of snow-capped peaks all over, as far as your eye could see. The equipment was great; much attention was paid to safety. We highly valued the detailed pre-climb briefing and acclimatisation schedule. The friendship among us made the hard moments tolerable.Very recommended for experienced climbers who are looking for the next conquest. The attention to detail by the company in every aspect of the trip was particularly commendable.
The Everest Luxury Kongde Trek with Mountain Rock Treks was simply unforgettable. Hiking through the Himalayas and then being flown back over the top of them in a helicopter really was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Our guide made sure we had everything we needed and informed us about so many interesting things about the area, its culture and its history. The lodges were warm, comfortable and for how remote they are, incredibly luxurious! The helicopter flight back to Kathmandu over Everest & Kala Patthar was jaw-dropping – I could have stared out of that window all day. I honestly couldn’t recommend an adventure holiday more, especially as this trip comes with such great service from Mountain Rock Treks, who honestly couldn’t have done enough to make sure we had an amazing time. Bucket list stuff, guys.
From start to finish, the journey was filled with breathtaking landscapes, cultural encounters, and exceptional service provided by the team at Mountain Rock. Mr Deepak planned our tour impeccably. He and his team ensured that every detail was handled, from arranging the necessary permits to providing top-notch equipment for the biking adventure. This level of professionalism gave me great confidence in their ability to deliver an outstanding experience.
The Mountain Rock Treks team was the backbone of my accomplishment of this extraordinary trekking and peak climbing adventure. The company put us under the incredibly seasoned guides Dawa and Pasang, who ensured our safety throughout the Naya Kanga Peak climbing journey. As far as logistics goes, everything was flawlessly organised. The gear provided for us was awesome, the campsite was very clean and nice, and the food was delicious and abundant - it got us going all the time. Ultimately, I can say that the Mountain Rock Treks' professionalism and safety of the trip made this a great climbing experience. I highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for a great, organised Naya Kanga or Langtang Valley trip.
We completed the Everest and Gokyo treks two weeks ago and had an incredible experience! Aangdawa, the tour guide, was incredibly competent and helpful. Mingma Sherpa, the porter, was really nice and polite. The view was spectacular and changed every day on the journey. The hike was quite difficult, especially at the Cho La Pass. We highly recommend this trip with Mountain Rock Treks.
The splendour of the EBC trek leaves me speechless, even after my third visit to Nepal. The frigid serenity of towering peaks is an experience like no other. The Tea houses offer rudimentary lodging, and you can modify your journey as per your preferences. I suggest planning your trip before the influx of tourists. My choice time is the first week of March when the weather is chilly and the crowds are low.
If you're looking for a truly epic adventure, look no further than Mera Peak Climbing and Ski Back to Mera Base Camp. The climb itself is intense and exhilarating, with stunning views at every turn. And the skiing back down to base camp is an experience you'll never forget - the snow is pristine, the slopes are thrilling, and the views are simply unbeatable.
The journey was incredible! We walked amidst the clouds, accompanied by well-informed guides who maintained a great client-to-guide ratio. The landscape was awe-inspiring, and thanks to acclimatisation, we avoided any signs of altitude sickness. Though the climb was challenging, the guides adjusted the pace to our capabilities. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.
