As a gay traveller, I can honestly say that the Gokyo Valley Trek with Mountain Rock Treks was an absolute highlight of my trip to Nepal. The scenery was breathtaking, with stunning views of the Himalayas and the turquoise Gokyo Lakes, and the cultural experiences we had along the way were truly unforgettable.

One of the best parts of the trek was the opportunity to visit the Buddhist monasteries in the region. Our guides were incredibly knowledgeable about the local culture and traditions. They provided insights and information about the part that enhanced our understanding of the area.

Everest Base Camp Trek and return by helicopter was one of the most incredible experiences of my lifetime. The scenery is breathtaking, and the experience of standing in the shadow of the highest mountain on Earth is awe-inspiring. The trek is challenging, with an elevation gain of almost 4,000 meters, but the rewards far outweigh the effort. The local guides and porters were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, ensuring that our safety was paramount throughout our journey. The helicopter return was a great way to end the experience, offering spectacular views of the Everest region and making the journey back to Kathmandu incredibly memorable. Overall, I highly recommend this trek to anyone with Mountain Rock Treks looking for an unforgettable experience in the Himalayas. 

 

The journey to Everest's base camp was a truly breathtaking adventure that I will never forget. Thankfully, our return chopper ride from Everest was graced with delightful weather, allowing us to appreciate the stunning scenery fully. The exhilarating helicopter trip was an absolute thrill! Despite the underwhelming tea house food during our trek, I thoroughly savoured every other aspect of the experience. In addition, Kathmandu boasts a fine selection of dining establishments. Upon our arrival, the attentive staff treated my partner and me with the utmost care and attention. We received detailed briefings, and our queries were thoughtfully answered, resulting in a seamlessly organised trip.

Just returned from an epic Everest trek, complete with a thrilling heli ride to Lukla and a hike to Kala Patthar. Thanks to Mountain Rock Trek's, I got to savor local cuisine, cozy teahouses, and the friendliness of the locals. My guide was both knowledgeable and hilarious. It was truly the trip of a lifetime, and I'm already planning a return trip with Mountain Rock Treks in 2023. Would I recommend them to friends? Absolutely.

Our guide, Tongba, was very knowledgeable, always gave us honest advice, and tailored the itinerary to the best needs of our group. When one group member experienced altitude sickness, the guides handled the situation professionally and prioritized safety. Overall, I was highly impressed with Mountain Rock Treks and will use them for future Nepal trips.

Deepak took care of everything from the very beginning. His coordination was perfect, and logistics did not pose any difficulty. Dawa, Our dedicated guide, and Mingma, our porter, were knowledgeable and very friendly, adding an element of joy to the trip. All the luxury accommodations were good, offering comfort, and the surroundings were most breathtaking. The best part was the helicopter sightseeing of Kala Patthar. The journey became memorable due to the companionship of Dawa and Mingma, whose support and jokes created a warm atmosphere. I give an 11/10 rating for MRT as they over-delivered; every minute of the trek was pure and enjoyable. 

The Gokyo Valley Trekking with Gokyo Ri was an incredible journey I will never forget. I had the pleasure of going with Mountain Rock Treks; they were an excellent tour company. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly and ensured we were comfortable and safe. The trek was challenging, but the views from the top of Gokyo Ri were worth it. The panoramic views of the Himalayas were breathtaking, and it was an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this trek to anyone looking for a challenging and rewarding adventure in the beautiful Himalayas. The Gokyo Valley Trekking with Gokyo Ri is a must-do for any avid trekker or nature lover.

We witnessed the most exclusive Everest region experience with the Mountain flight tour in Nepal. We flew over the series of the high Himalayan range in the north and the long-ranged Tibetan plateau up to a closer distance of about 10 kilometers. Overall, 1-hour tour of the Everest region was very fantastic with Mountain Rock Treks.
