My friends and I have long dreamt of embarking on a journey to Everest Base Camp (EBC), but it's not as simple as it may seem. Eleven individuals, including myself, will go to EBC and Gokyo Lake for a 19-day adventure in September. A four-day hiking trip with Mountain Rock Treks in the environs of Kathmandu turned out to be an enjoyable adventure. Sightseeing was incredible, culminating in the unparalleled sunrise at Nagarkot. However, the hike was well-managed for different expertise. The beautiful sceneries and tranquil tracks left a lasting memory in my mind. Our trekking experience took on a cultural tone in Chisapani when we were given the best dhal bhat. A mountain rock trek itinerary that was expertly organised ensured that it was an unforgettable journey. This was an excellent expedition combining nature, culture, and excitement, ideal for recharging away from Kathmandu.

Mountain Rock Treks took care of everything you needed to climb Everest. Experienced Sherpas, good oxygen and mask equipment, solid and comfortable base camp facilities. Food variety is important on long trips, and I was glad that Mountain Rock Treks did not disappoint in this area. The teahouses  offered fresh vegetables until up to base camp and special high-altitude meals above that. They also had a very strong agent in Kathmandu who handled all logistics smoothly. 6 out of our team of 7 members summited Everest with Mountain Rock Treks. Their commitment to climber success is remarkable.

I booked this trek because I heard Nagarjun is a great spot for birders. They even supplied a guide who knew about all sorts of local wildlife. We saw some really rare birds and several mammals that are rarely seen in the wild.

Walking along various trails while observing the local wildlife at the same time made this trek a very special and unique experience.

As a solo traveller, I really appreciated being treated as an individual on this half-day tour of Kathmandu. The guide curated the experience for my interests and pace.
