While trekking over the Rupina La Pass we were caught in heavy snow on the track and therefore trapped at the pass. Initially, we were anxious; however, Mountain Rock Treks managed the situation without any worries about weathering the storm.
Before we even knew about the problems, our guide had arranged alternative routes and accommodations, never compromising anyone's safety or comfort. The porters were great, too, being extremely supportive for the whole ordeal, helping where they could be looking after personal gear, food, hot drinks and our sanity.
Dipak Pandey managed to remain in contact with us and provide convenience and assistance.
The entire journey went incredibly smoothly, from the initial planning to the actual adventure. The team at Mountain Rock Treks did an outstanding job tailoring the plan to my preferences, and Deepak was exceptional. Because I was unfamiliar with the mountains, I relied on his recommendations for food and beverages. As a result, I didn't experience any altitude sickness and could fully savor the trek. When embarking on such adventures, having the best team is crucial, and that's precisely what we had. In fact, we even assisted some individuals from other groups on our way up, demonstrating the team's competence. The MRT team thoroughly checked our equipment, ensuring I had all the necessary gear. I felt safe and well-prepared throughout the entire journey. I eagerly anticipate trekking with them again shortly.
I searched for good company and set a hike from Nagarkot to Changu Narayan. They have shown professionalism, friendliness, and very clear communication from the very first moment, especially from the side of our guide, Sudip. Sudip involved our hike with times – learning great information about both the current status of a few local villages and the use of the ancient temple.
Climbing Naya Kanga Peak with Mountain Rock Treks was a fabulous adventure. Last year, my friend who did it with them highly recommended it, and I'm thrilled I followed his advice. Their organisation was perfect: everything went well when they picked me up until the time they dropped me off. The accommodation was comfortable, and the food kept us going. The climbing of Naya Kang was difficult but enjoyable, and the whole 15-day journey with Mountain Rock Treks provided the experience of a lifetime.
We booked the EBC trek with Mountain Rock Treks, but we're unsure if we'd have the energy to complete the entire circuit. Their Namche to Kathmandu helicopter service provided incredible peace of mind. Knowing we had this flexible option in our back pocket allowed us to truly enjoy the trek without worrying about the return journey. Reaching Namche Bazaar, we opted for the helicopter, saving us valuable time and energy. A great service for anyone wanting a flexible and comfortable way to explore the Everest region.
The Short Luxury Journey to Everest with Mountain Rock Treks was a comforting and adventurous revelation. As keen travellers who value luxurious journeys, we became a topic of scepticism concerning the conquest of EBC. Mountain Rock Trek's flawless service dispelled all doubts. We were always in comfort, surrounded by the mighty Himalayas. The unspoiled grandeur of the mountains was far better than imagination, with everything looking genuine and almost divine. MR T's crew organised a perfect trip for us, which we will never forget. We are very thankful to them for making our Everest trip a victory and an opulent and spectacular voyage.
The 3 days Chitwan National Park safari after the rejuvenating Annapurna Base Camp trek was a really wonderful experience. Thanks to Mr. Deepak, the owner of Mountain Rock Treks, every detail was taken care of, from transport and lodgings to meals. The lodge in Chitwan was excellent, with great rooms, delicious food, and a well-maintained garden. Our jungle guide was well-versed in the wildlife, which improved our experience. We appreciated every second and are happy to say they were very professional, and we would go on another trip with them again.
One of my most rewarding experiences was my inaugural rugged trek, lasting seven days, covering both guide and transportation from Kathmandu. Our journey started with a 6-hour tourist bus ride to Pokhara and a 5-hour private jeep ride to sikles. In Sikles, we spent the night there. From here, it mainly consisted of uphill climbing. Our destination was Kapuche Lake and Kori Hill. The effort was truly worthwhile.
