The tailor-made private tour we took under the guidance of friendly Dawa and with support from Deepak throughout was a perfect combination of top-notch accommodation and amazing experiences. Both Dawa and Deepak’s warmth, knowledge, and humour-filled the trek with life, bringing an unforgettable ambiance. The journey was a good illustration of Nepalese hospitality, ensuring we were well cared for. Gardens that provided fresh meals were also on site and added some charm. Special praise to Deepak, who not only arranged a fantastic gastronomic experience but also designed personal certificates and helped us in Kathmandu. His professionalism and genuine care demonstrate MRT ethos. 

The four-day Chisapani-Nagarkot-Dhulikhel trek with Mountain Rock Treks was a wonderful family adventure we would not forget. Trek perfectly combines natural beauty, cultural exploration, and physical challenge. There were intelligent guides from Mountain Rock Treks who made it a pleasant journey for our security with insight into the local culture.

The tranquillity begins with the lush landscapes and calm atmosphere at Chisapani. The Himalayan peaks cast in gold by the rising sun from Nagarkot made up one of the most amazing highlights at this site. The old-world charm of ancient Dhulikhel and bustling markets made the trek more culturally exciting.

The service was quite good. On top of that, the fact that they treated us as their own created an atmosphere of more pleasure. 

The coordination by Deepak from Mountain Rock Treks simplified the pre-trip arrangements with his prompt responses to our requests. It was easy to communicate with him via email; he answered our questions very clearly. The trek, in turn, was a combination of difficult uphills and magnificent panoramas. Dipak’s knowledge and companionship brought a personal touch to the trip, leading to our general contentment. During my search, I stumbled upon the iconic three-passes trek. The benefits of the trek promised great, unique elevations and the most diverse trekking experience. The trek was difficult, but it was supported by MRT, which made it far easier.

The MRT team was passionate and knowledgeable and came with a great agency. I would recommend them for their cohesiveness and hospitality. And I look forward to trekking in Nepal again soon with MRT.

4-day trek with a scenic hike to Hotel Everest View and an amazing helicopter trip in Kala Patthar was just the right mix of adventure – and luxury. The luxury accommodations provided a welcome respite after exciting days. The experience at 55 was designed for the intended person seeking comfort without sacrificing excitement during hiking. The MRT guides were knowledgeable and caring, and the trip became more impactful. It is a rare phenomenon to meet such a delightful and encouraging team. I recently completed the Tsum Valley Trek – Manaslu Region with Mountain Rock Treks, and I can honestly say it was one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life. If you're looking for something off-the-beaten-path, culturally rich, and naturally stunning, this trek should be at the top of your list.

Tsum Valley is unlike any other region I've trekked in Nepal. Tucked away in the northern part of the Manaslu region, it feels untouched by time. Ancient monasteries, vibrant prayer flags, and deep-rooted Tibetan Buddhist culture made every village feel sacred. The locals were incredibly warm, and it was humbling to be welcomed into such a remote and spiritual world.

The trek itself was moderately challenging—ideal for those with some previous trekking experience. Trails were varied, from peaceful forest paths to rugged mountain ridges. Each day brought new and jaw-dropping views: snow-capped peaks, roaring rivers, and hidden valleys. The highlight was reaching Mu Gompa, a remote monastery nestled near the Tibetan border. It was serene and surreal.

What really stood out was how peaceful the trail was. Unlike the more commercial routes (Everest or Annapurna), the Manaslu and Tsum Valley route felt pristine and raw. There were days we barely saw other trekkers, which gave us a deep connection with nature and the local communities.

From the very beginning, Mountain Rock Treks was incredibly responsive and helpful. They handled all logistics seamlessly—from permits to transportation.

Considering how remote the region is, the teahouses were cozy and clean. Food was fresh, mostly traditional Dal Bhat (which never gets old on treks!), with occasional surprises like Tibetan bread or momos. Mountain Rock Treks made sure we had comfortable stays wherever possible.
