I was in a group of travellers on a Short Luxury Journey to Everest. The accommodations exceeded all expectations, providing luxury throughout the trek. The highlight of this adventure was the stay at Hotel Everest View, where you could have a morning breakfast, taking in a front view of the world’s highest peaks. The Kala Patthar helicopter tour was a memorable trip where you could see beautiful landscape views. Special thanks to Deepak for compiling every part smoothly so it is the best journey possible. This trek matched and surpassed my expectations, giving me fond memories of unbeatable comfort and the magnificent Everest region.

 

The Everest Mani Rimdu Festival Trek with Mountain Rock Treks was a great trip in Nepal. Experiencing the colorful Mani Rimdu festival in the Tengboche Monastery felt like I'd been transported into another world - the costumes, dances, music and importance of the rituals in this remote part of Earth is something words just can't describe. And that was all before we even hiked to Kala Patthar for sunrise over Mnt. Everest after making our way up to Base Camp. It's an amazing mix of cultural and adventure travel that Mt RockTreks made easy and seamless. Truly cannot recommend this trip enough.

I just returned from the Luxury Annapurna Base Camp Trek with Mountain Rock Treks, and I can confidently say it was one of the most memorable experiences of my life.

From the moment I arrived in Kathmandu, the team was incredibly professional, welcoming, and organized. Everything was taken care of — airport pickups, comfortable hotels, permits, and detailed briefings. I never had to worry about a thing, which allowed me to fully enjoy the journey.

The trek itself was absolutely breathtaking. Every day brought new landscapes — lush forests, terraced fields, charming Gurung villages, and, of course, the majestic Himalayan peaks. Reaching Annapurna Base Camp and watching the sunrise over the snow-covered mountains was simply magical.

What made this trek truly stand out was the luxury experience. The accommodations along the way were far beyond what I expected in the mountains. Warm, clean rooms, private bathrooms with hot showers, excellent meals, and attentive service — it felt like a five-star experience at altitude!

Our guide was exceptional — knowledgeable, kind, and always checking in on our health and comfort. The porters were also incredible — strong, friendly, and always smiling. The whole team made us feel safe, supported, and part of the family.

This was not just a trek; it was a well-crafted journey filled with adventure, comfort, and cultural richness. Mountain Rock Treks truly knows how to deliver a premium Himalayan experience.

The Mundhum Trail has a few tough sections, but Mountain Rock Treks provided excellent support through the porters as well as the acclimatization factors.

The patience and speed of their guides were apparent throughout the journey, while the company's commitment to safety and comfort made a demanding trek safe and enjoyable.

My well-planned solo trip ended up being quite intimate for me. Most places in the itinerary were cultural temples to more isolated areas of landscape, in Lasha. Mr Dipak and Guide Tom W from 'Mountain Rock Treks' did a great job with arranging everything from hotels to meals, activities and logistics, as well as being understandable. 

I travelled solo, I quickly booked Bhaktapur with Mountain Rock Treks, and I found myself feeling safe and supported at every step. Our guide was patient, knowledgeable, and always checked on how I was doing. 

The group size was great, good for asking questions and reflection. 

Really, the travel arrangements were flawless and so nice to have the peace of mind and enjoyment.
