Our trip to the mountains surpassed all expectations and was an incredible expedition. Climbing Thorong La Peak was a challenging experience that tested our skills, but it was well worth it. We gained valuable knowledge and insights from the climb of both peaks. We greatly thank the exceptional Mountain Rock Treks, who provided unwavering support throughout the trip. The Sherpas, porters, and kitchen staff excelled in their respective roles, but our mountaineering guide deserves special recognition for his professional leadership.

Mountain Rock Treks was our choice for embarking on this adventure. Me and Noah, a friend from the UK, accompanied us. Deepak, from the Kathmandu headquarters, managed everything exceptionally well. Our guide was a highly experienced professional with intricate knowledge of trekking and climbing. The pre-climb training proved crucial for our success, and we gained much knowledge from it. The breathtaking views from the Island Peak and Mera Peak summits stunned us.

A land of sheer contrasts. On the one side are Buddhist temples, which will take your breath away with its magnificent interior design and attention to detail. On the other side, the Nepalese temple's fine seriousness is very serene and restful. The entire complex is excellent. To go about it, you may take tuk-tuk taxis too. Make sure to do a walk around the Buddha's birthplace. Brilliant.


 

The relationships formed on the climb were among the greatest highlights of the trip. I met some fantastic people, all of whom I would highly recommend traveling with if you have the opportunity. We all bonded over our shared experience and laughed and joked the whole way up and down the mountain. Ultimately, our climbing expedition was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I am grateful that I could go on it.

Everest Base Camp Luxury Lodge Trek was a great experience with Mountain Rock Treks. Accommodation was better than expected, especially Yeti Home stays and a deluxe hotel in Kathmandu. Flying to and from Lukla by helicopter added an extra kick to the journey in great comfort. The guide was friendly, well-prepared, and full of interesting information about the region, and the porter made the journey quite stress-free. Accommodation en route was good, cozy, and well-balanced with adventure and rest. Wholly well-organized in every little detail, this indeed was an adventure in luxury. 

The Langtang Valley trek with the helicopter return was epic! Stunning Himalayan views and a chopper ride back - an unforgettable adventure.

Trekking through the stunning trail to Gokyo Lakes in the Everest Region was the highlight of my 15-day adventure. The breathtaking views of the Himalayas, including the majestic Everest, left me awe-inspiring. 

Though I wished to linger, my itinerary demanded otherwise. Thankfully, I had expert assistance from a Mountain Rock Treks consultant, who crafted a personalised itinerary for me. My cheerful guide ensured a seamless experience throughout the journey, and I encountered no issues in the mountains. The food was delicious, and after a few hours of trekking, I enjoyed a restful sleep. The hotel owners were incredibly welcoming and supportive.
