This 13-day pilgrimage with Mountain Rock Treks in Nepal was truly transformative. It wasn't just sightseeing but a journey of learning, emotions, and deep connection. Lumbini left me speechless - a truly transcendent experience. Exploring Boudhanath and witnessing the Himalayas from a breathtaking viewpoint in Kathmandu added another layer of wonder. While I originally planned a Mardi Himal trek, switching to this pilgrimage proved incredible. It offered a perfect blend of spiritual exploration and breathtaking landscapes, leaving me with memories I'll cherish forever.

From airport pickups to settling the tent at the base camp, everything went according to the plan without any hitch. The guides were professional mountain climbers who were also quite entertaining, and had good tales to tell on the traditions of the people and past trips. The acclimatisation program was good too, with most of us able to cope with altitude gradually. The summit attempt was difficult but also it was fun. It has always been my ambition to reach the peak of Chulu East Peak, and at last, I did. 

We had an amazing trip with Mountain Rock Treks around Pokhara for my family. My family and I were so glad that this was a short trip that could be completed in 4 days, which included our driving, sightseeing, leisure and boating time, and my kids also enjoyed it. Our guide made an effort to tour every place patiently around including making sure that every family member felt good all over, definitely a fun and memorable time spent on Phewa Lake, which everyone really enjoyed.

Our guide from Mountain Rock Treks was very art history-based and imparted knowledge on carvings, the murals, and the symbolism of temples.

He was enthusiastic about his topic, and we could wander freely throughout the courtyards at our leisure.

The van transport both fathers from Thamel was very comfortable, and we returned in the late afternoon. The cultural tour was very well organized.

Mountain Rock Treks have greatly helped me get the Ramechhap to Lukia flight. This route will significantly benefit any trekker planning to trek in the Everest region. Unlike the traditional approach, it reduces the number of hours utilised for transport and the ability to start the trip early. Booking the flight through Mountain Rock Treks was fine and good. The team was very friendly and helpful, making the whole exercise as simple as possible. In addition, the tall Himalayas mountains themselves spoke to the effect that there was more to look forward to. If you want to go to Lukla fast, the flight from Ramechap is an ideal choice. 

Exactly what we wanted from the 5-day Mardi Himal Trek. We loved the itinerary because it was planned to give us time to appreciate all the views. Our guide told us interesting stories about the culture and the mountain along the trek.

The Langtang Gosainkunda trek with Mountain Rock Treks had meant a lot more; it was not just a hike but a real journey to a spiritual awakening. On a daily basis, the trek leader took us to the beautiful valleys and rhododendron forests of the Himalayas until we reached the holy Gosaikunda Lake. The pilgrims’ immersion into the cold waters and the worship brings about great stillness to me. Mountain Rocks Treks, our choice agency, offered us this wonderful accommodation in peaceful guesthouses, which was helpful for the relaxing calmness under the mighty Himalayas. This was not a conventional hike just to hit the destination. It was about the spiritual enlightenment that arrived on the way.  

Of course, I meant to include a local festival on my trip to a local festival which was happening near Jamacho. Mountain Rock Treks fit in the Nagarjun-Jamacho hike with respect to take in the local cultural celebrations as well. 

As the day went on, my guide connected me with locals, and explained local customs with respect to the festival, and an enjoyable cultural element to the already beautiful hike.
