I had wanted to trek in the mountains of Nepal for my entire life when I contacted Mountain Rock Treks for the nine days of Manaslu Circuit Trek. I have trekked in both Annapurna and the Everest region, but I always figured that trekking in the Manaslu area would be one of the exceptional trekking experiences in the region. When I picked up the phone to share my ideas and questions with Mountain Rock Treks, they answered quickly and took care of everything smoothly. When I arrived, I was greeted with a friendly face at the airport and realized I was in the right hands. Thanks to the owner, Deepak ad, who helped me through my trek.

Mountain Rock Treks professionally organised the tour, and our guide, Ram, was a great narrator who told all the site's stories with details that made us realise their importance. He informed us of all the valuable facts, which made the story fun, engaging, and lively. The service provided by the company was great, from the transportation to the guide services. I highly recommend this trip to anyone who prefers perfectly organised heritage tours of Kathmandu.

Tsum Valley is unlike any other region I've trekked in Nepal. Tucked away in the northern part of the Manaslu region, it feels untouched by time. Ancient monasteries, vibrant prayer flags, and deep-rooted Tibetan Buddhist culture made every village feel sacred. The locals were incredibly warm, and it was humbling to be welcomed into such a remote and spiritual world.

The trek itself was moderately challenging—ideal for those with some previous trekking experience. Trails were varied, from peaceful forest paths to rugged mountain ridges. Each day brought new and jaw-dropping views: snow-capped peaks, roaring rivers, and hidden valleys. The highlight was reaching Mu Gompa, a remote monastery nestled near the Tibetan border. It was serene and surreal.

What really stood out was how peaceful the trail was. Unlike the more commercial routes (Everest or Annapurna), the Manaslu and Tsum Valley route felt pristine and raw. There were days we barely saw other trekkers, which gave us a deep connection with nature and the local communities.

From the very beginning, Mountain Rock Treks was incredibly responsive and helpful. They handled all logistics seamlessly—from permits to transportation.

Considering how remote the region is, the teahouses were cozy and clean. Food was fresh, mostly traditional Dal Bhat (which never gets old on treks!), with occasional surprises like Tibetan bread or momos. Mountain Rock Treks made sure we had comfortable stays wherever possible.

My wife and I recently took this remarkable journey to celebrate our anniversary, and I must say, our Everest Heli tour landing at the Everest View Hotel was nothing short of extraordinary. Mt. Deepak and his team at Mountain Rock Treks flawlessly organised our adventure and every trip aspect. 

Landing at Hotel Everest View was an absolute highlight and a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The awe-inspiring beauty of the Himalayas unfolded before our eyes as we soared through the skies. The moment we first saw the world's highest mountain, Mount Everest, was genuinely breathtaking. The sight of the mighty Everest and the surrounding peaks left us utterly speechless as we savoured our delicious breakfast. 

Another thing that was best for me was the thorough briefing we received before and during our tour. We're immensely grateful to Deepak and his team for making it all possible. 

The enchanting landscapes and experiences of distant mountain peoples have left an indelible imprint in my memory. The hike was the ideal mix of challenge and payout, with every footstep as rewarding as the next. The careful planning and preparation by Mountain Rock Treks made this journey smooth. The walk was a blessing, with the team committed to security and fun. This trek offered everything from breathtaking views to cultural immersion in a truly holistic experience. 

I thought trekking would be the best part of this trip, but surprisingly enough the jeep ride was no less exciting! Riding on those tough roads, steep climbs and crossing the water stream was thrilling and boosted adrenaline. Mountain Rock Treks really did a good job. They made us reach safely to Tilicho Lake, but not without that thrill. The guide was very helpful, and both Jeep and We were well taken care of. Tilicho Lake justified it being the world's highest altitude, too, making every effort worth it. Must do this if you want adventure with beauty.

The guide team was excellent, and their encouragement and support were always on hand. The whole itinerary was well designed, and the rest of the days were very appropriate, which played an important role in acclimatisation. The company was also able to maintain its ecological values with very little disturbance to the mountain. Indeed the summit day was the most challenging but watching the sunrise from the top of the mountain made it all worth it. This was more than just preservation of memories; this was a unique experience brought about by one common challenge. Mountain Rock Treks' professionalism and expertise were evident throughout the experiences. Also, for those who wish to test their limits, it will be an awesome quest.

It was such a great mix of adventure and safety while ascending to the Singu Chuli with Mountain Rock Treks. Mr. Dipak's meticulous planning had every detail so professional. Guide Deepak's experience and advice were most helpful, especially on the rock part of the ascent. Thanks to his competent leadership, we all reached the summit and celebrated our success. The scenery during the scenery was breathtaking. If you are looking for professional care and successful summit climbing, Mountain Rock Treks is the way to go.
