Being a foreigner, getting the permits, and arranging flights to Tibet was a challenge, but after searching around online, I found Mountain Rock Treks, and they organized the whole trip and provided me with my [Kathmandu - Lhasa] flight and all permits. The local Tibetan mountain guide met me at the airport, and the welcome dinner on the first night made me feel at home. Their credentials made this journey to high altitude for me very easy and enjoyable.

Mountain Rock led a group trip to the Everest View trail excursion in February 2020. Very friendly and easy to talk to. He is both professional and enjoyable to trek with when it comes to trip plans. Our adventure begins after a short but exciting flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, which shows the beautiful grandeur of flora and breathtaking snowy mountains. It was the nicest trip I'd ever taken.

Starting in Chechet, where the road stops, is a wonderful hike. You arrive at the Rolwaling Valley gate after climbing 600 meters. Three to four days of straightforward hiking over a well-maintained track through Sherpa territory that leads to Nagaon, or an adventurous crossing of Trashi Lapsa into the Sagarmatha region.

Mantra chanting and the melodic sound of instruments give an enthralling experience. After a long drive from Kathmandu to Sorung Khola, the short trek to the Gompa begins. We will reach at Bigu Gompa after passing through a lovely rhododendron forest, delightful villages, and narrow trails. One of the best refreshing treks.

We had a time limit but wanted to complete the EBC Trek as quickly as we could, so we found this tour company and organized a trip based on the reviews we received.I definitely suggest Mountain Rock. We have plans to return soon. We had a customized program that worked so well, and we even had time for some excursions like paragliding in a town not far from Kathmandu.

I finished the Mountain Rock Treks-organized Gokyo Lakes Trek in April. Every two hours, my guide made sure I was okay. She was incredibly helpful and kind. Both the trip to Lukla and the hike to Gokyo Ri were incredible experiences. From the summit, there were stunning vistas. Due to the covid-19, there were only a few teahouses open, but he picked the best one for me. The vista of the pristine Gokyo Lakes was magnificent. The lakes were only partially exposed, surrounded by the towering peaks and snowbanks.

On the ascent to the top of Gokyo Ri, the Gokyo Lakes provide stunning scenery. I can highly recommend Mountain Rock Trek at Gokyo Resort, which has a lodge with adjoining bathrooms, a welcoming staff, tasty meals, and a bakery right next door.

In the midst of winter, I went on an Everest view hike. Because the walk was short and easy, I had no trouble finishing it. Overall, this walk was more calm and easy, albeit the cold may be a concern at this season. Namche Bazar is a very lovely high land located at 3440 m and surrounded by gorgeous mountains. Tengboche, at 3870 meters, was another lovely town. It is the cultural and religious hub of the Khumbu region, and it is home to several stunning monasteries.
