Absolutely wonderful. The wildlife was on trails that were not marked on any maps, and by venturing off the usual path, we were able to get a closer look at Sherpa culture. Not to be missed are the splendor of the Dudh Nadi valley, Tengboche, and the vistas of the Himalayas and Everest from Goyko Ri. Our tour guide, Xiring, was fantastic; she was always there to explain what we were seeing and made the trip more enjoyable by offering suggestions and unanticipated extras. Would definitely go again.
The scenery was incredible, and I found it a really fulfilling experience. For a first long-distance trek, I think we made the right decision to take a guide and porter. I´m glad I did this, as it brought me increased enjoyment and provided me with lifelong memorable experiences. If you ever wanted to book a trekking tour in the Nepal Himalaya, I can definitely recommend Mountain Rock Treks, and Mingma Sherpa (our assigned guide).
Following our exhilarating Everest Base Camp trek with Mountain Rock Treks, we opted for a relaxing yet rewarding Chisapani Nagarkot Trek. This 3-day adventure provided the perfect post-Everest Base Camp decompression. The picturesque landscapes, from lush valleys to quaint villages, offered a serene contrast to the high-altitude challenge we had just conquered. Our experienced guides, familiar with our previous trek, tailored the pace and activities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The cosy homestays and delicious meals added to the charm of the trek. If you're seeking a rejuvenating escape after an intense adventure, the Chisapani Nagarkot Trek with Mountain Rock Treks is the perfect choice.
Throughout the flight, our pilot provided us with fascinating commentary on the history and culture of the region, as well as pointed out key landmarks and features. We had a chance to snap some unforgettable photos of the stunning scenery below, all thanks to a trip organized by Mountain Rock Treks.
As we descended, we flew over Namche Bazaar again, allowing us to take in the breathtaking views from a different perspective. After a truly unforgettable experience, we land at the helicopter landing pad, ready to explore the rest of this beautiful region.
Dipak unquestionably contributed to the success of our trip to Nepal. Monsoon conditions made it more difficult to plan a trip to Nepal in July when there was just a 4-day window to fly and land on EBC. But Dipak managed to make it happen! I was so happy with the level of service I received that I would definitely hire them again.
I don’t think I can put into words how fantastic my five-day trek to Annapurna Base Camp with MountainRock Treks was. I will remember the professionalism of the guides, my friendships formed with other trekkers and the views, for a lifetime. While this is a challenging trek of good climbing, the MountainRock Treks team made it an enjoyable as well as easy trek.
I returned home with new friends, great memories, and a newfound respect for the Himalayas. If you are thinking about doing this trek and want to create one of the most incredible experiences with the best team, I honestly cannot recommend MountainRock Treks high enough.
I decided to enrich my Kailash Saga Dawa Festival experience by joining Mountain Rock Treks' tour five days early. This fantastic add-on included a comprehensive sightseeing tour of Lhasa. Witnessing the Potala Palace and other historical wonders was an incredible way to begin the journey. Mountain Rock Treks truly impressed me with their flexibility. They customized the itinerary to perfectly suit my needs, ensuring a seamless transition from Lhasa to the festival. The guides were exceptional – knowledgeable, friendly, and always ready to answer questions. The tour operator was equally fantastic, providing excellent support throughout the trip. Overall, the entire experience with Mountain Rock Treks exceeded my expectations and made this a truly unforgettable adventure.
Hindus worship at this lake, and visitors travel there to experience a unique location. When I dove into the lake in April, I was almost completely frozen. What an interesting location. I cherished seeing little Kundas by the water.
