The view of the mountains, especially Everest, was the highlight of this heli trip. Oh crowded Kathmandu, the cityscape appears different from above. The captain was cordial enough to tell us the names of the mountains. The flight from Kathmandu to the helipad was the quickest and best.
I've made this route countless times. I typically witnessed the lake sans snow. The sights are beautiful and unforgettable. As a guide, I have been employed on the mountain. I've done a lot of trekking in Nepal, but my favorite trek is Gosainkunda. I was treated wonderfully by Mountai Rock Treks
I knew this hike would be adventurous and thrilling from the moment I left Dunche. The Gosaikunda Lake walk was for me a full bundle of natural nature, religious sites, and rich culture. The entire Langtang region is beautiful. Here, primarily Tamang communities are represented by people who have Tibetan-like habits. Consequently, you will get a taste of the customs, culture, and way of life of the inhabitants.
I had some free hours before my flight that evening, which I filled with the Patan Durbar Square Day Tour from Mountain Rock Treks.
The guide arrived on time and was full of information, we went through Patan’s beautiful temples and into the traditional Newari villages of Bungamati and Khokana. It was a tranquil cultural break before I left.
I booked the hike with Mountain Rock Treks for the experience of the "Nagarkot Sunrise," and I wasn't disappointed. The ride up to the hike that morning was lovely, and witnessing the sunrise views of the Himalayas was breathtaking.
The hike was smooth, relaxed, and peaceful, with the trail leading through rural Tamang villages and terraced land. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable; all in all, it was an excellent fusion of nature and culture for my day out.
As a foreigner arriving just two days prior to my trek to Everest Base Camp, I knew I would encounter hurdles just to buy a Lukla flight ticket (due to unavailable seats).
I have reached out to various travel agents and airlines and each request for tickets faced full capacity limits with available flights. Thankfully Mountain Rock Treks was able to help reserve and get me my flight within a couple days of travelling to Kathmandu.
We had a fantastic trip to Nepal that included a fantastic helicopter ride! We were guided through a different culture, a difficult terrain, and an incredible trip by our knowledgeable, helpful, and humorous guide Xiring. The challenging walk culminated in a strenuous ascent to a stunning early-morning vista of Everest and a gorgeous ride down to Lukla.
It was amazing to tour Tengboche monastery, the most important and historic monastery in the Khumbu region. And the flight from and to Lukla's Tenzing Hillary Airport was thrilling. Last November, we went on the EVerest trip, which was fantastic. We pass through beautiful valleys, forested areas, moraines, and charming settlements. Exceptionally exciting trek
