I recently completed the 14-day Luxury Annapurna Base Camp Trek with Mountain Rock Trek, and I can confidently say it was one of the most unforgettable travel experiences of my life.

From start to finish, the professionalism, organization, and attention to detail by Mountain Rock Trek were exceptional. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, we were greeted warmly by Mr. Dipak and transferred to a beautiful boutique hotel. The accommodations throughout the trek—whether in the city or in the mountains—were far more comfortable than I expected, especially considering the remote locations. The upgraded lodges along the trail were cozy, clean, and offered warm showers, delicious meals, and even Wi-Fi in some places!

The trek itself was breathtaking. Each day offered something new: lush forests, terraced fields, charming villages, and, of course, the jaw-dropping views of Himalayan. Reaching Annapurna Base Camp at sunrise, surrounded by a 360-degree panorama of Himalayan giants, was beyond words. The sense of achievement, peace, and beauty in that moment is something I’ll carry forever.

What made this trek feel truly “luxury” wasn’t just the accommodation and food—it was the level of service, personalized care, and the stress-free planning that Mountain Rock Trek delivered. Every detail, from permits to transfers to dietary preferences, was taken care of seamlessly.

Even though our original flight was delayed by weather, Mountain Rock Treks kept us appraised and rebooked as soon as the weather permitted them to do so. Their communications were great, and once we were airborne, the flight was smooth and stunning. Their professionalism has turned a potentially very stressful situation into some much easier to manage.

Mountain Rock Treks arranged for homestays along the Mundhum Trail, which provided ample opportunity for authentic cultural experience. The hosts were very friendly and generous, and impressed by the food.

I was looking for a very easy day hike after my trek to Everest Base Camp. I arranged the Nagarkot to Changu Narayan hike through Mountain Rock Treks and was given my own guide, Manoj, who was quite knowledgeable and quite patient.

 The general itinerary was good, the accommodation was great, and our guide, Grace, is awesome. She was super knowledgeable, compassionate, and kind-hearted - plus her English was excellent. Our driver obviously knows how to drive those high-altitude roads well and safely. We had so many cultural stops that contained a wealth of content.

Im glad a friend suggested Mountain Rock Treks for Bhutan because it was a great decision. The group tour was equally incredible. Mountain Rock Treks organized an easy transition for airport pick-ups, as well the hotels were also very comfortable.

This one-day UNESCO World Heritage Tour by Mountain Rock Treks was an ideal way to see Kathmandu's ancient cultural beauty. Indeed, our guide was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the sites we visited. He told us many interesting facts about the past and also provided information about the religious beliefs behind the important heritage places. The private car offered comfortable transportation.
