Our guide, Prabin, and porter Rajan, both went above and beyond every day to keep us motivated, smiling, and safe. The logistics were seamless, and the tea houses were all chosen with purpose and comfort in mind.

We also appreciated the little thoughtful touches—hot tea at all the right moments or a little word of encouragement on the steep climbs. A wonderful group that we will use again.

The helicopter transfer from Kathmandu to Lukla was smooth and thrilling, and what a way it was to bypass the regular trekking challenges. As a Bon pilgrim, it was my first time, and I appreciated the effort that had been put into not disturbing our setting with non-Bon pilgrims. The overland part of the journey was made more fun by having a group and its organizers that tried to make everybody comfortable and safe while each day being exposed to new experiences. After a full day of paragliding around Pokhara, I was still a little wired and looking for a different kind of aerial experience, so I booked a hot air balloon flight with Mountain Rock Treks. Floating quietly in the air was an entirely different sensation from all of the activity before.
