I traveled to the village of Rolwaling. I had an excellent experience experiencing Tamang and Sherpa culture here. The vistas of the several Himalayas, including Makalu, Everest, and Gaurishankar, were breathtaking. My experience of walking in a forest rich with various flora and fauna is on another level. It became a cherished memory.
Our guides were attentive, patient, pleasant, and professional from the moment we arrived at Kathmandu airport to the moment we left. The trip itself was life-changing in a great sense, and I can't wait to return. Mountain Rock Trek, thank you.
Last November, we completed our trek to Lapchi Kang. Buddhists frequently travel to the remote and little-visited Lapchi Kang region as a place of pilgrimage. It is the location of the lengthy cave residence of the renowned Tibetan Yogi Milarepa. But every trekker is drawn to this location by its appealing natural beauty and its diverse ethnic and cultural activities.
On my Three Pass Everest climb, I was joined by five other people. We were a group of six from six different countries. The organizing business, Mountain Rock Trek, was fantastic. In Kathmandu, I stayed in a nice hotel. Transportation was never an issue. Everything that was required, including as permits and bookings, had been arranged. The three passes Everest hike proved challenging. With Mountain Rock as our tour organizer, I was certain that everything would go smoothly. Even if they did, it was for reasons beyond their control. Thank you to everyone.
We have always chosen to travel in comfort. We decided to participate in the EBC journey this year, although we had some self-doubts before we started. However, Mountain Rock Treks took care to keep us comfortable while being in the Himalayas. There is nothing more I could have asked for than to experience the mountains in their most pristine forms without making any compromises. I appreciate the luxurious hike to Everest base camp. Without you guys, I never would have thought I could complete this trek.
Everest Base Camp Trek with Island Peak is a challenging but rewarding adventure that takes you through some of the world's most beautiful and remote landscapes. I recently completed this trek in February with Mountain Rock Treks, and it was an experience I will never forget.
One of the things that stood out to me about this trek was the cold temperatures in the final days before reaching Everest Base Camp. As a seasoned mountain climber, I was well-prepared for the cold, but it caught me off guard sometimes. The most challenging day was when we reached EBC, where the temperature dropped to -10 degrees Celsius. However, the views from EBC more than made up for the cold. Standing at the base of the world's highest mountain, surrounded by towering peaks and glaciers, was a truly unforgettable experience.
It was a short and easy hike. I have the opportunity to learn about the Tamang and Sherpa cultures. The spectacular views of Mt Gaurishankar, Mt Melungtse, and many other mountains add to the excitement of your trip to Gompa. Bigu Gompa is one of the oldest Buddhist monasteries. This proposal was provided by mountain Rock trek.
No other adventure is as pleasing as my last trip to Kathmandu, Nepal, with Muktinath Heli - just like a pilgrimage to blissful heaven. Every step - Itinerary, planning, and execution - had to be done with incredible detail. It was a blessing to me when I became part of the local texture of the multiethnic city, touring with professional guides. Nevertheless, the helicopter ride was the most exciting, transforming your trip to a certain extent. Performing puja at the temple with the majestic mountains as a backdrop was a moment I will cherish forever. Mountain Rock Treks' professionalism and attention to detail made this a truly unforgettable journey for the soul.
