As a Hindu devotee, visiting Nepal's holy sites, especially Muktinath, has always been a burning desire. However, on my recent trip, I only had 5 days left. Disappointed, I almost gave up hope. Thankfully, I stumbled upon Mountain Rock Treks' Kathmandu Tour with Muktinath Heli. It was a lifesaver. Their team understood my devotion and time constraints perfectly. They designed a fantastic itinerary incorporating Kathmandu's important pilgrimage sites and the much-desired Muktinath visit. Within 2 hours, I stood amidst the sacred grounds of Muktinath, a feat that would have taken days by land.
Bigu Gompa is a lovely place to stop on your EBC journey. It is definitely worth a little visit in the Khumbu valley. Bigu Gompa, also known as the Nunnery School, is one of Nepal's oldest Buddhist monasteries. It was a brief yet unforgettable journey.
Undertaking the 11-day Jomolhari Trek with Mountain Rock Treks was a life-changing experience. We crossed through varied landscapes, right from thick forests to wide open alpine meadows and had stunning views of Mount Jomolhari throughout the trek. The trek was designed so as to have us acclimatized well & it didn't feel strenuous at all. Our guide had amazing knowledge about the Culture of Bhutan, which definitely added to our experiences in Bhutan. Everything was so efficiently planned with Mountains Rock Treks that we were able to enjoy the experience to the fullest without having to worry about anything else. A trek I would recommend for anyone who wants both - Natural beauty + Asian Culture!
It was lovely to walk through the dense Pine, Oak, and Rhododendron flora of Sagarmatha National Park. We enjoyed spending lovely evenings at the destinations Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, Gorak Shep, Lobuche, Gokyo Village, and Thagnak, where we learned about the distinctive way of life and culture of the Sherpas and other local ethnic groups. It was a trip to remember.
As a Hindu follower, I've always been excited about spiritual journeys. So, I chose to go with Mountain Rock Treks on a shamanism tour and a pilgrimage to Gosainkunda, a sacred lake, which was an incredible, fantastic journey. I learned about a different spiritual tradition by going on a Shamanism journey for 3 days. The sessions with the drums were so powerful, and the meditations granted me a unique connection with the divine yogic energies of the Himalayas. Though the rituals were not the same ones I was familiar with in my own Hinduism, the inner peace and nature elements were still very much related to me. I would recommend this Shamanism trip to anybody looking for a better understanding of their spiritual side, regardless of their spiritual beliefs.
The Mountain Rock Trek crew made it simple and painless to arrange a challenging trek. They answer quickly and are quite polite. Our trekking guide was really friendly and informed. Huge thanks to Xiring, our guide! Our entire journey was EPIC. highly suggest. The moment we return to Nepal, we will 100% use them once more.
We have reserved a 10-day trek with Mountain Rock Treks to the Everest Base Camp. The walk with Guide Xiring was really wonderful. We took a day off in Namche and Dingboche. Dingboche was our favorite because it was close to the Chhukng valley and the base camp of Island Peak. We went up to Kalapatthar and Everest Base Camp, which was our goal, and what wonderful vistas there were. Our guide was very knowledgable and helpful. We were taken up from Gorekshep and arrived in Lukla for about an hour, but we liked it there. We walked inside the Lukla Airport to take a photo of the signboard reading LUKLA AIRPORT.
I went on a 3-day Chisapani Nagarkot trek with Mountain Rock Treks, and it was great fun. The adventure, from the spectacular sceneries to the exceptional services, was a true bargain with a good return on time and investment. Nagarkot and Chisapani offered us a view of the Himalayas we could only dream of; literal mountains of white and gold formed the horizon. The cool, fresh altitude air helped to calm down and refresh the body.
