When I visited Gokyo in December 2021, I was treated to a stunning vista of some of the tallest mountains in the world, including Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho-yu. Gokyo is more peaceful than the hike to Everest Base Camp and doesn't have to worry about lodging either. Whoever enjoys a little adventure should definitely try it.

I enjoyed the Gurung Heritage Trek's cultural experience as well as the breathtaking vistas of the Himalayan mountains and surroundings. This journey was made even more enjoyable and fulfilling by perfectly created colorful terraced fields, deep forests covering hills, a variety of wild flowers, cool rivers and streams, charming villages, and stunning snow-capped mountains. I thoroughly appreciated the hikes.

Our guide, Shankar, from Mountain Rock Treks, was great and very caring as well. He had amazing historical knowledge about the history of the meaning of every temple. For the most part, it was a free flow of questions, led by us, for example, about the 55 window palace and also about the customs in the communities of the local people. It was nice being with a smaller group as it felt personal, and easy to slip back and forth to Thamel. We are both culturally inclined, it was worth every rupee.

Mountain Rock Trek team helped me book an Everest circuit Heli tour in Nepal. I emailed them, and they responded quickly and consulted with me. We came together, and I immediately booked the trip. I was blown away by their services and the itinerary they provided. I booked a flight to Nepal and arrived here to board. We went trekking, and everything went swimmingly. What an amazing experience! Mountain Rock Treks, in my opinion, is the best tour operator. The trip was simple. At the airport, they picked us up, and they then drove us back to our hotel. Everything in between was taken care of. You could concentrate on walking, enjoying yourself, and taking in the surroundings because they took care of everything, even the logistics of transportation and our reservations at tea houses. The owners, staff members in the back office, porters, and tour guides all value your feedback! Avoid taking chances and go with the BEST!

This past fall, I had an amazing time walking the Manaslu Circuit. Gopal, my guide, was hilarious and friendly in addition to being an expert hiker in the Manaslu area. We traveled each day at a leisurely pace, completely appreciating the journey to our destinations. The lodges' generosity toward us was evidence of the advantage of hiking with a genuinely kind Nepali man. Mountain Rock was well-organized in planning the trip and responding to all of my queries in advance. I'm quite grateful to have done this vacation and grateful that I booked with such a trustworthy travel company!
