The settlement of Ghorepani was one of the most beautiful in the Annapurna region. The ascent to Poon Hill was enjoyable, and the reward was a stunning sunrise. I admired the Gurung and Magar people's rich culture, heritage, ideals, and values. I was amazed by the unique way of life and gracious hospitality. Our guide made the vacation special by showing us the most kind hospitality.
After trekking in Nepal, more than three times, this time, I booked on Mountain Rock Treks and Expedition, which was a good decision. Ten days trek with lovely potter Jeemi and guide Bhiswo. It is a more peaceful trek than previous ones, and views from Gokyo Ri are better than the Kalapathar I found. Thank you, mountain rock treks, for organizing such a lovely trek.
The tour group was made up of a diverse range of very friendly people who could not have made us feel more welcome. I believe Mountain Rock Treks did a great job of ensuring everyone was aware of what to expect on the trip before we departed and coordinated close transfers into and out of Bhutan. My favourite part was visiting the National Textile Museum, not only did we look through the museum, but we were also able to appreciate textiles in Bhutan, which gave me a far greater context for what Bhutan is really about.
My trip with Mountain Rock was incredible. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, Dipak greeted me, whose hospitality is first class. He picked me up and dropped me off at the airport even before/after Dipak finished my tour. I booked the Everest base camp luxury trek with them. This trek is the best trek with friendly accommodation in the high Himalayas. He also checked up on me throughout the trip and ensured I was safe and sound.
Mountain Rock Treks provided me with such a wonderful time! I felt quite safe thanks to my guide's vast knowledge of culture, trekking, and welcoming nature. Without the team, I most surely would not have had the once-in-a-lifetime trekking experience. Absolutely would advise!
I am so glad, we have a such a great experience in the Himalayas. We did an Everest base camp helicopter tour with landing at Lukla, Everest view hotel, and Kala Patthar. When we flew from Kathmandu the weather is hazy but after 15 minutes flight, we had great weather. Mountain views were perfect. I recommend it. Thank you all organizing team.
The Annapurna Sanctuary Trip was an unrivalled adventure. This odyssey developed as a beloved, one-in-a-lifetime journey that placed me among my highest travel feats. These Himalayan panoramas were majestic, like a heavenly spectacle. Foods were gourmet delights, reflecting local tastes. Nepali hospitality and traditions welcomed us warmly. Tea lodges had an inviting warmth, each having its own personality. The itinerary was perfect, challenging enough to feel a sense of accomplishment but not so difficult as to be overly frustrating. Most importantly, our group of 12 bonded emotionally. Deepak and the Mountain Rock Tre's team, fellow adventurers, and skillful guides – kudos to them for creating a memorable trip that united friendship with adrenalin.
I traveled to the Annapurna base camp for seven days. The entire trip—from airport pickup to going to Base Camp to returning to Pokhara—was efficiently planned. I was quite grateful for all the assistance I received from Dipak and my guide Gopal, especially as a lone traveler. Everything on the tour was taken care of, and my guide even helped me organize things after the tour. Thanks to Gopal's consideration, I was able to move at the rate I wanted to and arrived at the Basecamp without experiencing any difficulties due to the altitude.
