Excellent trek with close-up cultural encounters and mountain views. Except for Pokhara and Kathmandu, we spent the entire night in teahouses. On the other hand, the cuisine served in the tea shops was superb. The Mountain Rock Treks team is welcoming, encouraging, and they make every step we take, no matter how difficult it may have felt, simple. All the way from the airport pickup to the foot of Makalu! The tour guide, Gopal, was extremely informed and helpful at every turn. These guys are genuinely amazing individuals who made the vacation an unforgettable experience. We became friendly with him right away. He used to look after us from daylight until night. He used to encourage us and crack jokes whenever we were too exhausted to move. Putting everything else aside, his quips were not at all funny ha-ha. I was able to see stunning vistas of numerous mountains during the journey, including Mt. Machhapuchre, Mt. Boudha Himal, Mt. Himal Chuli, Mt. Manaslu, and Mt. Annapurna II. The 8-day Gurung Heritage Trek was a simple hike. It really took me through the Gurung culture, and the people there were incredibly kind and sincere. This journey was fantastic.

Due to my limited time in Nepal, I got in touch with Mountain Rock Treks and made a reservation for a helicopter tour to the Annapurna base camp. Their last-minute arrangements astounded me. Amazing views of mountains and their neighboring peaks could be seen from the chopper. I had a great time on the heli-tour to Annapurna base camp. It was all so perfect. The best experience of my life was this Mountain Rock Treks helicopter tour of the Annapurna base camp. I appreciate everything.

For 13 days, I was part of a small group of 7 people walking in the Lamjung Himal. We were seeking for an adventurous, off-the-beaten-path adventure. I was particularly interested in experiencing the solitude of the high mountains, as well as nature and fauna. My aspirations and expectations were exceeded by the vacation! We camped and trekked, and with Mountain Rock Trek’s assistance, company, and outstanding organization, I was able to complete an excursion that I never believed I would be able to complete.

The community trek was a great educational experience, and we are happy to be able to support the local inns and small businesses. Despite the fact that the daybreak was gloomy, the sights during the journey were highly varied and stunning. A special thank you to our guides, who stood out for being superb – very kind, attentive, patient, and knowledgeable about the trail. Throughout the walk, they took good care of us!

In all honesty, this trip was one of the best things I've ever done. All of my expectations for what we would see and accomplish were completely exceeded by the trails, landscapes,  mountains, and lakes, which were simply stunningly magnificent and awe-inspiring. All of this was made much better by our fantastic tour guide Gopal, who was nothing short of a  rockstar. Gopal was highly knowledgeable, competent, and attentive while still being a lot of fun. You won't be sorry if you go on this walk with these gentlemen, I guarantee it!
