This, of course, was a once-in-a-lifetime vacation. One of my favorite trips ever. How nature presents itself in the Himalayas is unbelievable, especially the general scenery or vistas it shows you. Sometimes, they seem like they are of an extraterrestrial world outlook. The meal was excellent, and the Nepali people and their culture are warm-hearted and beautiful. All the tea houses were warm and friendly, each with its character. The schedule appeared perfect; it was challenging enough to make you feel accomplished every day but not so much as to leave feeling overpowering. But most importantly, our team was amazing!!! We were 12 travelers who bonded on the level of souls. I sincerely thank Deepak and the Mountain Rock Treks team for being great friends and leaders.
Our nine days Manaslu Circuit trek was absolutely fantastic, and it all started with our first interaction with Mountain Rock Treks and Deepak. The agency and his team promptly addressed our queries via email and provided a comprehensive list of what to expect and what to pack for the trek.
Also worth mentioning is there were no unexpected surprises, which was a relief throughout the journey.
The nine days Manaslu Circuit trek itself was an incredible experience. We enjoyed the fact that we encountered a few other trekkers and enjoyed the unique path through various villages as the altitude gradually increased. We wholeheartedly recommend Mountain Rock Treks to anyone looking for a short yet enjoyable trekking adventure in Nepal.
The holy site is incredible. We had sizable crowds. Visits to Pashupatinath Temple, Narayan Temple, Doleshor Temple, Surya Vinayak Temple, a flight from Pokhara to Jomsom, and lastly Muktinath are all included in short day excursions. Altitude is not a problem, vegetarian food is delicious, and special poojas at certain temples made the celebration more joyful. Had a fantastic experience, especially during the journey, from the initial contact to the service from the day we arrived to the day we left. The best service was given by Gopal, the tour guide, who was outstanding. Nothing to complain about because Dipak will respond to all of your inquiries and will always be available! I wholeheartedly endorse them!
My whole family traveled to Nepal in May, and we had detailed plans for the specific things we wanted to accomplish during our trip. After a conversation with Mr. Deepak, everything was arranged for my family's needs. My mother and father were also with us. As a result, Mountain Rock Treks agreed a pony for her. Yeti Mountain Homes also provided us with very comfortable accommodation. If you ask, flexibility was the best part of the trip for me.
After completing the Annapurna Circuit, I hiked Mardi Himal The walk was absolutely gorgeous and a wonderful addition to the Circuit. It would undoubtedly function well as a stand-alone expedition as well. The business Mountain Rock was outstanding. They were really communicative and flexible throughout. My guide, Gopal, was fantastic. In addition to being a lot of fun outside of hiking hours, he was quite informed about the local mountains and environment.
I went on the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra with Mountain Rock Treks. It was a dream come true for me. The entire trip was very well organised and the tour operators had made a sincere effort to gather a bunch of guides who could educate us about what we were going to experience (guide, in this case not meaning one physically but more so spiritually). I expected to feel nothing as I’m an atheist myself. However, I was taken aback by how strong a wave of energy hit me when I reached Mount Kailash. Here we saw Hindus performing pilgrimage and Jains too offering prayers. No matter what you are, it is still worth visiting because after you’re done, your perspective on gratitude changes. They acclimatise you beautifully and have actually better quality everywhere.
Doing the Everest Base Camp with Mountain Rock was one of the best experiences of my life; they took care of everything during my stay not just in the Himalayas but also in Nepal. The best experience, in fact. The journey, the scenery, and the food were all great. This was an adventure of a lifetime, not just a hike.
Compared to previous treks in the Annapurna region, the trail was straightforward with just sporadic ascents and descents. We get to stroll through stunning rhododendron forests and take in breathtaking Himalayan mountain views.
