I went on a five-day tour to Poon Hill with a friend. We are both novice trekkers, so having a patient and amiable guide on this trip is much appreciated. Gopal followed our pace and showed great concern for our wellbeing during the trip instead of putting any pressure on us. We were able to enjoy the stunning Himalayan scenery. The sunrise was spectacular. The variety of cultures was very enjoyable. We appreciate Mountain Rock Trek for arranging this fantastic trip.

We had a fantastic experience on the Bimtthang Manaslu hike. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and made certain that we acclimatized adequately before the pass. He always made sure we had nice accommodations and ordered our meals early so we could eat earlier. He also changed the plan to accommodate our pace and our request to jeep the dirt road on the way back. Our porter guide was also knowledgeable and attentive. He was also constantly in the kitchen assisting with the preparation of our meals, which I never saw other porters do. When we return to Nepal, we will definitely trek with them again!

We completed the hike in November/December 2018, when there was no snow and the crossing was clear. But we went during the off season, so some of the lodges were already closed. Mountain Rock Trek provided us with the greatest guide. Manaslu's cuisine is simple. Manaslu Circuit is more difficult than the Annapurna Circuit, with more ups and downs!!!
