On my three Peak expeditions this spring, I was impressed with the top-notch arrangements made by Mountain Rock Treks. Their team of professionals and knowledgeable guides provided an exceptional experience, while the delicious food kept me fueled throughout the journey. However, it's worth noting that hunger can strike unexpectedly if you don't take advantage of Mountain Rock Treks' service. I also appreciated that I didn't experience any stomach issues during the expedition, thanks partly to Mountain Rock's adherence to the itinerary and timetables in Katmandu. This was a small miracle, given the chaotic traffic in the city. Without a doubt, the next time I plan a trip to Nepal, I'll be sure to check if Mountain Rock offers the services I need.

Dawa and Deepak are incredibly responsible, kind, and honest. My trekking companion once fell ill around 4800 meters. We weren't sure if we should keep going or return to Namche Bazaar (a site with better accumulations and a lower altitude). Dawa addressed us with care and presented us with various alteration possibilities. Finally, we took an extra half-day in the mountains to recover and visit all the locations we thought we couldn't reach. I saw so many beautiful sights on this trip that it is impossible to explain them all. Garlic soup and ginger tea are my best friends. It completely blew me away. The last 19 days have been difficult (more mentally than physically), but all the effort was worth it. 

From the very start, the company was very responsive. They attentively answered all my questions and soothed any worries I had. The pre-departure information our guides and the company provided on the Naya Kanga peak climbing was beneficial. Mountain Rock Trek's guide, Ang Dorje, inspired us and did a fantastic job throughout the journey. He was here for me and made me feel comfortable. The summit moment was a touching one. I highly recommend this adventure to anyone seeking a challenging and rewarding experience in the awe-inspiring Himalayas.

The Chisapani Nagarkot trek was a 3-day journey filled with breathtaking sunrises, lush forests, and tranquil villages. The Short Luxury Journey to Everest surpassed all expectations. The stay at Everest View Hotel was the epitome of luxury, with Mt. Everest dominates the panoramic view. Waking up to such majesty was surreal. The breakfast, a delightful culinary experience, added to the overall indulgence. Every moment was unforgettable because of the attention to detail, from transportation to lodging. This journey provided a taste of luxury and an unparalleled meeting with the wonder and beauty of the Himalayas.

The Ama Dablam Expedition was an exceptional adventure that surpassed my expectations. Booking an expedition without meeting the leaders or team members can be daunting, but Deepak's thorough communication before the trip made me feel at ease. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, I was greeted as instructed and taken to a lovely hotel where Deepak met me, and we had dinner. The trek to base camp was well-designed, with easy daily walks to help us acclimate to the altitude. Base camp was fantastic, with great amenities, including a spacious tent, a kitchen tent, two toilet tents, and a shower tent. The climbing was enjoyable, and the Sherpa crew provided excellent support and friendliness throughout the journey. Summit day was a memorable experience.

After years of planning and determination, our dream of trekking to Nepal has finally become a reality. We're thrilled we made it happen with the awesome people at Mountain Rock Treks. We went on an Annapurna trek with Mountain Rock Treks a few years back, and this time around, at the age of 45, we decided to go all out and indulge in a luxury trek to see Everest. Can you believe it? We've been travelling with them for over a decade now, and we wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone passionate about exploring Nepal. 

If you're considering the Everest base camp trek, I highly recommend it. Be prepared for the unexpected and put in some training beforehand. It's an incredible challenge that's worth taking on. To make the experience even better, I suggest trekking with a reputable company like Mountain Rock Treks. They provide excellent support before, during, and after the trip. The company I went with had a great kit list, and their sleeping bags and extra jackets were incredibly warm. Our leader, Dawa, and our Sherpas were outstanding. So, don't hesitate, GO FOR IT!
