The decision to merge the Everest Mani Rimdu Festival Trek and the Everest Base Camp Trek into one journey was undoubtedly our best choice, which gave us a chance to be completely submerged in the natural and cultural beauty of the Himalayas. Mani Rimdu Festival gave us a very colourful carnival experience, and then the trip started towards the century-old symbol of global trekking, Everest Base Camp. The transition from the festival's cultural practices to the Everest region's beauty was fast. The Mountain Rock Treks gave me a complete safety net, and I quickly managed all trouble-free situations from the beginning to the end of my journey.
As an explorer, I was so thrilled to do the Everest base camp trek, and the Mountain rock trek has made the journey very seamless and organized for me. I was worried about the altitude. Whether I would be able to adjust to the altitude or not, the well-planned itinerary of the Mountain rock trek and their attention toward every team member during the climbing has lessened my trouble. I enjoyed every bit of the trek and looking forward to having more trips with them.
I decided to travel on the Mountain Rock Treks organised Shamanism trip near Kathmandu to experience healing and gain self-awareness. The Spiritual program surpassed my expectations in all aspects. The Earth's Elemental System particularly attracted me, and the mantras and mandalas they teach us were great in healing and growth. The drumming session was so incredible that I could clear myself of emotional blockages and get into my subconscious state. I also was given a healing diagnosis that shed light on the problem I have been going through deep inside. This Nepal Shamanism Tour program was a life-changing event organised by the tour operator Mountain Rock Treks.
After finishing my Everest Base Camp trek, I used the City Tour with Mountain Rock Treks as a cultural break from trekking and as an opportunity to expand my knowledge and experience the culture and heritage of Kathmandu.
The guide was honest and nice and provided great stories about the temples and the culture of the local people. The transport was comfortable, and the entire tour was a perfect organized cultural break.
As a first-time tripper to Nepal, I was impressed with the professionalism shown by Mountain Rock Treks. The guide was knowledgeable and took the time to describe each set of sites on or around the UNESCO list, the venue's history (you may appreciate that), the actual site, and their relation to Nepal.
The transportation was acceptable, and most importantly, we had only four people in the group, which allowed us time and attention from the guide. In six hours, the tour provided a great overview of the important religious and cultural sites around Kathmandu.
This journey was incredible. We visited viewpoints, monasteries, local villages, Renjo La, and wonderful tea houses that welcomed us with a family atmosphere.
In November, my family went on vacation. The area is fascinating because of its variety and beauty The locals are kind and welcoming. Our tour guide was excellent and upfront with us. He saw to it that we had fun.
The Everest base camp trail was difficult because I was not an active trekker or hiker. It is my first time in the Himalayas. After long research, I found Mountainrock trek. The team was very professional, answered all my questions in one business day, and helped me a lot before beginning the journey. I highly suggest this travel agency. Trust me. They are very good at their job.
