Ama Dablam Base Camp Trek with Mountain Rock Treks was a life-changing experience! I have been to Everest Base Camp and also Kala Patthar, both were achievements in my life that I was proud of. The hike to Kala Patthar (5,545 meters) was hard but our guide kept us motivated and ensured we acclimatized well. The company’s management, from booking till the last day, had no glitches at all. Ama Dablam, Everest and Khumbu Icefall views felt surreal. Our guide also used to tell us amazing stories about Sherpa culture which made the experience so rich. I recently completed the Langtang Valley Trek with Mountain Rock Trek, returning by helicopter—and I can honestly say it was one of the most incredible experiences of my life.

The Langtang Valley itself is absolutely stunning. Each day brought new scenery—from lush forests and rivers to dramatic peaks and charming villages. Staying in local teahouses gave us a taste of the warm hospitality of the Tamang people. It was both physically challenging and spiritually rewarding.

The highlight, however, was the helicopter ride back. After days of trekking, being picked up in a helicopter from Kyanjin Gompa and flying over the valley we'd just walked through was surreal. The aerial views of the Himalayas were breathtaking and offered a whole new perspective. It was the perfect way to end the journey—saving time while still soaking in the beauty.

Our flight from Ramechhap to Lukla, organised by Mountain Rock Treks at the beginning of the Everest Base Camp trek, was thrilling. The flight was short but still interesting, and I saw some of the fascinating Himalayan ranges. The towering mountains were white with snow, and the hollows lay like green ridges. Thanks to Mountain Rock Treks, it was a great experience, thanks to the experts. The pilots were capable of flying through difficult terrains. It was safe and secure to fly with friendly and professional flight attendants. For anyone going on an adventurous trek in the Everest region, we recommend taking this Namecheap flight to Lukka instead of the Kathmandu-to-Lukla flight. 

Everest View Trekking with Mountain Rock Treks was just what our family needed. We had older parents and young kids in the group and hence could not do a full-on trek. This trip offered spectacular views of Everest without breaking much sweat. The lodges were cozy, the helicopter ride to Lukla, which we opted for instead of the Lukla flight, is something we will never forget, and our guide went out of his way to make it enjoyable for all of us-trail pace plans etc. Views of Everest from Tengboche/Cultural Namche Bazaar-wow. This is a great trek for a family or even elders wanting a short and easy hike around Everest.

Our guide, Madan, knew so much about the mountain, its geography and its history. The trail to base camp was filled with gorgeous sights and culturally informative lessons. In camp, the food was better than what one would expect in quite a desolate area. It was physically demanding but extremely gratifying, too, a day we attempted to summit. The panoramic view from the top was truly stunning.
