  • Champadevi: Tranquil Trails, Stunning Peaks

I did the Champadevi Day Hike with Mountain Rock Treks, and it was super affordable. They charged way less than most other companies. The hike was really good and was a nice half-day hike with fantastic views of the valley and a nice temple at the top, and our guide gave some really interesting background on the culture. If you are looking for an absolutely beautiful and cheap hike that is super close to Kathmandu, this is a great trip.

  • Superb Expedition Support

I went with MRT on the 2019 Everest expedition because of exceptional feedback about them. Dipak was brilliant and supported all parts of the climb. From their high-quality Sherpas to the cooks and tenting in base camp, nothing was left wanting. Even post-expedition completion, they genuinely care for climbers, which is impressive. Impressed so far that I'm signed up for their 2020 North Side Everest expedition.

  • Vegan Friendly and Safety-Oriented

Mountain Rock Treks have always impressed me with expeditions going without even one hiccup. On our 2019 Everest South Face climb, everything fell perfectly in its place. Plenty of delicious food was provided; my vegan diet was also catered to. All equipment was of superior quality-even the base camp tents were spacious, not to say the least. Envious, actually, there was a 1:1 Sherpa ratio and extra support on summit day. The safety and satisfaction of customers, as the owner himself mentioned, are the first priority. Already I am looking forward to having our next adventure with them.

  • The Land Route to Everest – A Trek Through Culture and Scenery

At 34 years old, I finally had the time and money to attempt my dream trip, the Everest Everest Base Camp trek. But due to the Lukla flight cancellations and delays, I decided to go for a road trip. Could not have chosen a better company than Mountain Rock Treks. I found them through word-of-mouth recommendations and booked direct on their website, which was easy to navigate with a simple booking process, no hidden costs, etc. The price for the package was very good, especially as the service certainly is not budget. We were a group of six friends; they catered exceptionally well for everyone regardless of fitness level etc. The longer route via Jiri is stunningly beautiful and quiet, with less air traffic pollution.

  • Gokyo and EBC by Land – A True Himalayan Experience

We did the Gokyo Everest Base Camp Trek by land with Mountain Rock Treks, and it was the best choice! Missing out on the flight to Lukla, we drove to Phaplu, which made the adventure all that better. The drive gave us an insight into seeing some of Nepal's beautiful rural areas. The trek itself was amazing; walking past the Gokyo Lakes and going up Gokyo Ri were definitely our biggest highlights. Our guide, Bishnu, and the porters were great and organized everything so we could enjoy all of what this trek had to offer. This landway makes this trek unique and real. I highly recommend it.

  • The best of two worlds -- Culture and local markets

I appreciated having a local guide to give it context at the heritage sites and then enjoyed visiting and experiencing organic, authentic local markets.

Walking through Asan Tole and Indra Chowk our guide shared how glass bead shops formed from the traditional bazaars, being a small group ensured I had plenty of opportunities for questions and being interactive. A fantastic way to resonate, and understand Kathmandu.

  • My Journey to Kailash Saga Dawa

Being a devotee of Shiva taking the Kailash Saga Dawa Festival with Mountain Rock Treks in 2025 has almost changed my dreams into a reality. It was spiritual and very well coordinated. As we arrived at the Tibet border, the magnificence of the mountains engulfed me, and I took the deepest breath. The rituals and the vibe I witnessed during the yearly Saga Dawa at Tarboche is a scene that will stay with me until the end of my life. Mount Kailash kora was hard but worth it. Mountain Rock Treks was the perfect choice since their guides were excellent in terms of the spiritual and historical dimensions of the region.

  • A Perfect Day Escape to Nature

After my trek of the Annapurna Circuit, I did the Champadevi day hike. The trek was strenuous, but the forest and scenery that we went through were extraordinary, and the valley views from the top were unreal. Mountain Rock Treks was affordable and cheaper than the other companies I was considering. The Guide who led the experience was professional, created unforgettable moments, and was incredibly generous.
