This valley is well-known to many hikers due to the nearby Rolwaling Himal and Gaurishankar Himal. It will be difficult to forget the region's vast valleys, mountains, views of the foliage, waterfalls, and other attractions once everything is said and done. This is the greatest hiking location if you desire a less populated one. High snow flows via the Tashi Lepcha la pass, one of the intriguing valleys Rolwaling, and the primary attraction of the Tsho Rolpa lakes were wonderful.
I heartily endorse Mountain Rock for an Everest tour. As well as being professional, they are in charge of providing high-quality services and facilities. It was truly gorgeous and thrilling to travel by helicopter between Kathmandu and Lukla, Lukla and Hotel Everest View, and Kongde and Kala Patthar. The journey was fantastic.
I reached Kathmandu with not much time to start my trek. When I arrived, the urgency of getting a flight to Lukla that same day was significant, but I was experiencing some challenges getting a flight booked.
Mountain Rock Treks assisted me with booking my flight and also found me a trustworthy guide and porter for my full trek. They were my one-stop shop for planning my experience on Everest from the start.
Overall, I am very pleased with my Hour Kathmandu Half-Day Tour. For my limited time available, it was a great way for things to fit in. The important sites were covered in an interesting but efficient way, with a knowledgeable person, and our guide gave us some interesting and unique angles on the sites. Mountain Rock Treks scheduled everything and transported us very well (all air-conditioned vehicles).
When I visited Gokyo in November 2019, I was treated to a stunning vista of some of the tallest mountains in the world, including Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho-yu. Gokyo is more peaceful than the hike to Everest Base Camp and doesn't have to worry about lodging either. Whoever enjoys a little adventure should definitely try it.
I didn't want to fly to Lukla because I knew it was one of the riskier routes to EBC. I contacted Mountain Rock Trek, and they advised me to go from Phaplu to EBC. It was one of the greatest routes since I could see beautiful mountain scenery and traveling through Phaplu village was amazing. I'd want to thank the crew for making my trip exciting and for supporting me along the way.
I decided to join the Tibet Lhasa Tour after reading excellent reviews. Tenzin, our guide, was knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Tibet and Buddhism, providing us with rich details and stories about the Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple. The tour itinerary allowed us to check out everything from funky little markets to peaceful monasteries, and one of the little things I really enjoyed was the chance to try some authentic Tibetan Milk Tea. This tour brought Lhasa's culture to life.
After I trekked the Annapurna Circuit, I booked the Kathmandu City Tour with Mountain Rock Treks as a cultural winding-down adventure. I liked the guide's talking about the religious sights and learning how the local people were performing their customs.
This was important to me in making an attempt to move towards understanding the cultural diversity in Nepal. The trekking component, combined with a cultural visit, was a well-rounded experience of Nepal.
