As a solo traveller, I was apprehensive about connecting with a group on such an obscure climb. I came across Mountain Rock Treks online, and they linked me with a small, friendly group. The guide managed all of the permitting, logistics, and gear/acclimatization brilliantly. The combination of culture, wildlife, and mountain landscape is indescribable and a must-do as a solo traveller.
We selected Everest View Trekking with Mountain Rock Treks partly because we wanted a family experience that was not as challenging as a full trek. Still, most importantly, I wanted my elderly mother to see Mt. Everest, and this is the easiest way to get there without flying. It did not disappoint. Everything was handled for us, and if you have any special requests (as we did), they are happy to work you into the schedule. The Guide made sure our experience was smooth and adjusted our trip as needed along the way. Some of the best parts were in Namche Bazaar and just hanging out with locals/viewing from Everest View Hotel/Accommodations/food was better than expected, and there was no stress at all with the team.
The heli trip from Pokhara to Kori was excellent. We chose to take this quick day trip to see the Annapurna region because we were short on time. It provides us with stunning views of lush, green forests, rivers, streams, and numerous other natural marvels. Incredible lake in Kapuche.
I had the privilege of hiking the Mundhum Trail through Mountain Rock Treks and experiencing raw wilderness, forests of rhododendron trees, and even some red panda sightings.
They organized a wonderful trek which included suitable rest stops and amazing look-out points.
The pace of the trek was comfortable, and the support team was cheerful and as attentive as they needed to be.
Mountain Rock Treks organised an incredible 14-day trek to Annapurna Base Camp in autumn. During the time of COVID-19 situation, the staff was admirably caring and supportive. Each team member would provide immediate aid whenever needed, carefully taking all precautions to guarantee we were safe. Although the tea houses at the time had a slightly limited selection of culinary options, there was no obstacle for our rest. MRT's service is unmatched in proficiency and empathy for those considering a trip to Nepal. Their dedication to safety and relentless support made them stand out, as they would be the most superior option whenever thinking about any trekking adventure in the magnificent panoramas of Nepal.
I wanted to experience both the religious sites in Lhasa and see Everest Base Camp, so Mountain Rock Treks put together an appropriate itinerary for me that included Potala Palace, Sera Monastery, and a lovely trip to the north face of Everest.
One of the most awesome things I have ever witnessed was watching the sun rise over Everest from Rongbuk, fabulous. The organization and support provided by the Commonwealth of Nations and the company would help was very good.
It was a pleasure to meet the Mountain Rock Trek team as our operator. Everything was done exactly how we wanted it. Thank you so much for organizing a once-in-a-lifetime adventure! I really enjoyed the Gokyo Lakes Trek and the spectacular view of Mt. Everest from Gokyo Ri. Mr. Gopal, our guide, deserves special recognition. We would not have been able to summit the Gokyo Ri and Renjola Pass without your assistance. I cannot wait to return to Nepal for the Everest Base Camp Trek. See you soon for the next trip with your team.
It was nice to explore the adventurous Tilicho Lake. As you travel through towns, you'll get the chance to see how people live their daily lives and observe local customs. Along with the trial, you can see the settlements of several groups, including the Chhetri, Tibetian Sherpas, Thakali, Magars, and Gurungs. It was such an amazing journey.
