. I adored Nepal and the people of Nepal. We owe Mountain Rock Trek a debt of gratitude for making our trip to Everest Base Camp so essential. Without your group, our 12-day  adventure trip to Everest Base Camp would not be possible. We intend to return to Nepal for several hikes and excursions in the next few years.

 

I traveled solo and was so well taken care of by the team. The planning and communication from the beginning were flawless. Our guide, Amrit, was the best; he made our group’s health, acclimatization, and enjoyment his priority throughout. The trek itself is both challenging and breathtaking & we were lucky enough to have a mystical day at EBC. The helicopter ride back was a decadent bonus, and the views of the peaks were unbeatable. This trip managed risk, adventure and comfort perfectly. I would definitely book with Mountain Rock Treks again in the future. 

We joined Mountain Rock Treks, a Nepalese outfitter based in Kathmandu, on this fantastic 21-day adventure combined with the Everest Base Camp Trek in 2019. I cannot say enough positives about this outstanding company and its dedicated employees (Doha and Bishwa). They are the best. I booked another trip with them this year (November 2022) to climb Mera Peak (6480m) and received the same excellent service.

In addition to the stunning natural beauty, we also had the opportunity to visit traditional Sherpa villages and learn about the region's culture and way of life. Their team is also knowledgeable about the Everest Helicopter Tour. In a short period, the pilots briefed us on all the mountains, including Mount Everest, valleys, and many anecdotes about the Sherpa people and culture.
