Mountain Rock Treks delivered knowledge and overall experience above and beyond anything that we could have ever imagined. When one of the members of our group began to suffer from some troublesome knee pain Saroj immediately made adaptations to our trek route and ultimately our pace.
We booked our Chitwan Luxury holiday package through Mountain Rock Trek and participated in a number of very enjoyable jungle tours. Our tour was fantastic, and he knew everything about the park. I appreciated the walks, during which we observed a rhino, a tiger paw print, deer, crocodiles, a variety of birds, and a python. Our guide made it a point to warn us that wearing brightly colored apparel (on any of the activities) could be harmful. A few canoe journeys that were a lot of fun, with lots of crocodiles and bird life. The canoes are traditional, carved from a single tree, and sit low in the water. Anyone with limited mobility would have a difficult time getting in and sitting down.
I have gone online to find a company and to set up a hike with Mountain Rock Treks from Nagarkot to Changu Narayan. They have showed professionalism, friendliness, and unbelievably clear communication from the very beginning especially from our guide Sudip.
Sudip engaged our hike with moments of learning great information about both the current status of a few local villages and the history of the ancient temple. Wonderful hike - quiet, beautiful, and very well organized.
We opted for a helicopter flight from Kathmandu to Lukla for our Everest Base Camp trek, which was spectacular. From booking this tour, the team at Mountain Rock Treks has been very helpful, making it a cakewalk for us. It gave tremendous views of the Himalayas, and we actually felt as though we were flying through a postcard. It added a splash of luxury to our adventure. If you're making plans for an Everest Trek, I highly recommend this as an option: an adrenaline-packed experience that really completes the journey to Everest Base Camp.
My flight to Bhutan was delayed, and I missed the meeting with the group. I was able to call Mountain Rock Treks, and once I did, they arranged a private transfer for me to meet the group.
What their true professionalism and compassion did was turn a stressful situation into something so enjoyable.
The tour after that unfolded well, and I had awesome tour guides who welcomed us as a group to enjoy some sightseeing together.
I was booked to fly to Lukla, but my flight was canceled for the second time due to the weather. I was getting nervous that I would possibly miss the start of my trek.
Mountain Rock Treks were communicating constantly, and re-booking my flights wherever possible, and trying to provide alternate transportation options keeping updates on their efforts.
The 11-day Jomolhari Trek with Mountains Rock Treks was truly an adventure of a lifetime. Every day offered new challenges and new rewards, from crossing high mountain passes to spotting wild animals. The guides were incredibly well-informed, as well as passionate about sharing the history and culture of Bhutan. The tour operator was flawless, which meant we could simply enjoy the experience. If you're looking for a real Bhutanese adventure, then this is it.
Our Gokyo – Everest Base Camp Trek was simply the best we could ever ask for at such a low price from Mountain Rock Treks. First, we did a Kathmandu sightseeing tour visiting Pashupatinath, Shanbinath, Boudhanath, and Patan Durbar Square. The next day we flew about 30 minutes to Lukla and started our trek through Changboche Monastery, Everest Base Camp, and Kala Patthar to Gokyo Lake. Mr. Surya was our guide, who was very good and always helpful. When we were in Gokyo, the weather was great, and we had great views of Mt Everest, Mt Lhotse, Mt Nuptse, Mt Cho Oyu, Mt Makalu, Mt Ama Dablam, and Mt Thamserku.
