We took a helicopter back to Kathmandu after our nine-day hike to Everest Base Camp with my family. With this local tour expert, we had a wonderful experience. Our guide Dorge was highly responsive to our inquiries and worries when we spoke with him. Dorge met with us when we got to Kathmandu to go over the details and gave us some top-of-the-line gear that was said to be functional. We are so happy we brought the sleeping bag, walking sticks, bag cover, and waterproof- jackets on our trip! We met our guides, and the porters Sanam and Balaram, in Lukla when we got there. Dorge, our guide, excellently led our trek to Kala Patthar. He always cared for us and provided us with options for various viewpoints and accommodations. We had a great time with him and the facilities provided by Mountainrock Treks on our trip. 

Before going off for The Everest Base Camp Trek, a Nepalese agent from Mountain Rock Treks greeted us as soon as we stepped off the plane. We were welcomed graciously by officials who quickly drove us to our hotel, where the tour company manager met us. He went over our schedule with us and helped us plan outings and activities for the days before the Everest Base Camp Trek. The hike was one of the best experiences. 

One of the best experiences was the trek. The month of September, the kind-hearted guides and the happy smiles of the Nepalese people were all beautiful aspects of this trip that I would want to experience again.

We were a little nervous about tackling such a challenging trek, but Deepak assured us that we were in good hands with Pemba, and he was right. Pemba was a patient and skilled guide, always looking for our safety and well-being. He also had a wealth of knowledge about the history and culture of the region and was more than happy to share his insights with us.

The trek itself was nothing short of breathtaking. From the bustling streets of Kathmandu, we made our way through quaint villages, lush forests, and snow-capped peaks, all while being treated to some of the most stunning views we've ever seen. The trek was physically demanding, but Pemba and the rest of the crew were always there to encourage and support us. They were also great at pacing the trek to ensure we had enough time to acclimatize to the high altitude.

 

I recently completed the Fantastic Everest and Gokyo trek with Mountain Rock Treks. It was an unforgettable experience. Our guide, Pemba, was professional and knowledgeable and ensured we were comfortable and safe throughout the trek. 

Hiking the short Everest Route, the most well-known trek route in the world, was an unplanned journey and adventure. I'll never forget the encounter with the local culture or the adjacent Mountain View. I thoroughly enjoyed my chopper flight and would probably do it again if I had the opportunity. Thanks to Mountain Rock trek for organizing this short itinerary. It was one of the best memory for me.

The Everest Base Camp Trek experience has made hiking, which is relatively new in my life, into a love. It gave me a wealth of knowledge about the natural world, the lives and cultures of the locals, and myself. Additionally, I felt really secure and at ease. Highly recommended for excellent communication and service!

We completed the 10-day trek to Everest Base Camp. What a fantastic experience. Every day, the scenery along the journey was breathtaking. Our guide and porters were both very accommodating and helpful. The food was excellent, and the accommodations were extremely comfortable. We had the quickest hike possible to Everest base camp. 

We ultimately chose to book our trip to Everest base camp with Mountain Rock even though we were quite afraid and eager at the same time. They had promised us the best experience, and they didn't disappoint. We didn't have as much trouble sleeping in the mountains as we had anticipated, but the food was novel and fascinating to us. Whenever we requested a break, our guide would stop for us and try his best to keep us motivated.  Many thanks for providing us with a wonderful time and realizing our dream.
