I recently attempted the Tilicho Peak Climbing Expedition in Nepal. The climb was amazing. However, the experience as a traveler could have been better. I want to praise the Trek organization for providing excellent support throughout the process. From arranging permits and pickups in Kathmandu to being on-site to greet us at the end of the trek, the team was professional and attentive.
I recently embarked on the Everest Base Camp Trek with Island Peak, and it was a truly unforgettable experience. The trek was physically and mentally challenging, but the stunning views and sense of accomplishment made it all worth it.
The porters from Mountain Rock Treks were efficient, incredibly friendly, and helpful. I was in a predicament on the third day of the trek as my luggage had not arrived at the designated meeting point. Fortunately, the porters could locate my belongings and carry them to me, saving me a lot of stress and inconvenience.
Throughout the trekking adventure to Saipal Base Camp, the package by Mountain Rock Treks covered all meals (excluding beverages) and accommodations. We highly recommend taking Dawa and Mingma, availing of his excellent services, as he surpassed all our expectations, leaving us immensely satisfied with our journey. It was an exhilarating and challenging hike.
10 days Everest Base Camp trek was excellently conducted by our tour guide/leader, Mr. Krishna or Krishh as we all called him. The arrangements for lodging were excellent. The cuisine was wholesome and hygienic. Members. He understood the differences in physiological adaptations among the different members. The other team members, including our assistant and co-guide, Mr. Lakpa sherpa, were also excellent. We returned via the Everest Base Camp, which was truly fantastic. The pilot informed us about the entire mountain before bringing it down, making for an unforgettable experience.
For me, Nar Phu and Tilicho Lake Trek with Mountain Rock Treks was not just a trekking adventure but also an immersion into the rich local culture. I am very much into Nepalese culture and tradition, and the Nar and Phu villages offered a glimpse into the traditional lifestyle of the inhabitants. Our guide's storytelling made the experience even more authentic. The team at Mountain Rock Treks was attentive to every detail.
I chose the Jugal Himal climbing Expedition, and I must say it was a breathtaking experience. This newly opened mountain peak offered unparalleled beauty, leaving me in awe at every turn. The package provided by the tour company was exceptional, ensuring a seamless and memorable adventure. From the moment we set foot in the region, the scenic beauty of the Jugal Himal range captivated my senses. The towering peaks, adorned with glistening snow, created a majestic backdrop for our Expedition. The expert guides accompanying us were knowledgeable, experienced, and passionate about the mountains, making the journey all the more enriching.
So, I just wrapped up the Langtang Valley trek with a helicopter ride back with the Mountain Rock Treks team, and guys, it was seriously mind-blowing. The six-day trek was no joke, I won't lie – it had its tough moments, but trust me, every bit of sweat was worth it. The views of the Himalayas were off the charts! Those snow-capped peaks, the colourful prayer flags dancing in the breeze, and the chill vibes of the monasteries – it was like stepping into a dream.
The natural environment of the Park was charming and picturesque as our jeeps drove through the long grass, tall trees, and even across rushing streams. We saw enough wildlife to make things interesting, but no tigers were spotted. Instead, we saw many Water Buffaloes, Rhinos, Gharial Crocodiles, Spotted Deer, and other bird species.
