Mera Peak Climbing and Ski Back to Mera Base Camp was the adventure of a lifetime! The team at the base camp was incredibly knowledgeable and supportive, making the climb itself as smooth and enjoyable as possible. And the ski back down to the base camp was simply breathtaking - the snow was perfect and the views were unforgettable.

My heartfelt gratitude goes out to the incredible team at Mountain Rock Treks for an unforgettable journey to the summits of Mera, Lobuche, and Island. I cannot recommend MRT enough, and I am already looking forward to my next expedition to the Himalayas with Deepak and his outstanding crew. From start to finish, every aspect of our trip was meticulously planned and executed flawlessly. We were provided with top-notch climbing boots, cozy down jackets, and high-quality sleeping bags as part of the package, eliminating the need for expensive gear and minimizing any potential hassles. 

Traveling to Nepal was an incredible experience, and the hike to Tilicho Peak was one of the highlights of my trip. The views from the top were breathtaking, and it was well worth the effort to climb up there. I can’t recommend this climb enough, and I would take it on the next chance I have to visit Nepal. I recently completed my trek to the base camp of Mt Saipal, and the outstanding professionalism and kindness displayed by my guides, Dawa and Mingma from Mountain Rock Treks, added an extra layer of significance to my journey. Their unwavering commitment to ensuring our safety and comfort throughout the trek was commendable. Dawa's extensive knowledge of the terrain and Dana's warm and compassionate nature made the trek an exhilarating and profoundly fulfilling adventure. 

Our journey to Nepal and Bhutan began in Kathmandu. The representative of Mountain Rock Treks was waiting for us at Nepal airport. There were several magnificent traditional and historical sites in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Pokhara. In Bhutan, I can still see the last Dzong we saw on our journey, and it was still spectacular, although the art and architecture became redundant after roughly the fifth temple. The covered bridge across the swiftly flowing river and the abundance of flowers and landscaping made this a very lovely stop on our journey. We had already visited the tiger's nest, so this seemed a little anti-climatic.

It is one of the best treks in the world, with stunning views. One of those things in life that must be experienced is this. Without a doubt, it's a fight, it's tough yakka the whole way, the oxygen level is low, and it's quite exhausting. But this is all a part of the trip, and once you've been there, you'll want to come back repeatedly.

My journey from Hawaii to Nepal was nothing short of incredible. It felt like a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. I am very grateful to Mr. Deepak from Mountain Rock Treks for his invaluable assistance in preparing all the necessary paperwork for our visa and arranging all the accommodations. They were not only honest and reliable but also genuinely kind-hearted individuals. I cannot express my gratitude for their warmth and humanity throughout the journey. I deeply appreciate how this team managed everything, ensuring our safety and comfort at every step. 11 Days Annapurna Base Camp Trek, organised by Mountain Rock Treks, is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. My friends and I recently took this trek, and it was unparalleled. The journey began from Kathmandu, from where we headed to Pokhara and then started our trip to Annapurna Base Camp. Along the 11 days, we traversed various landscapes, from scenic villages and terraced farmlands to misty forests and glacial ice. We were lucky to have been accompanied by our guide, Raju, who was highly knowledgeable, accommodating, and patient. He was well-informed about the terrain and the beautiful places to visit, and he also ensured that we stayed on track and always got great photo opportunities. He also helped us with logistics, like carrying our heavy backpacks, while he made our lunch and tea time memorable with his ever-smiling presence. 

 

The accommodation provided by Mountain Rock Treks was quite comfortable and had an old-world charm to it. From cosy teahouse lodges to well-equipped hotels, they offered excellent stay options with easy access to fantastic mountain views. Overall, I’m happy to report that our 11 Days Annapurna Base Camp Trek, organized by Mountain Rock Treks, was an incredibly fulfilling and memorable experience.
