In November, my family went on vacation. The area is fascinating because of its variety and beauty The locals are kind and welcoming. Our tour guide was excellent and upfront with us. He saw to it that we had fun.

The Everest base camp trail was difficult because I was not an active trekker or hiker. It is my first time in the Himalayas. After long research, I found Mountainrock trek. The team was very professional, answered all my questions in one business day, and helped me a lot before beginning the journey. I highly suggest this travel agency. Trust me. They are very good at their job.

After finishing the Annapurna Base Camp trek, and after spending one full day in Pokhara, I was so anxious to view the Himalayas from above that I opted to do the hot air balloon ride with Mountain Rock Treks (this was sort of like the icing on the cake). There was no better way for me to unwind and take in the scenery. The staff were friendly, well organized, and professional, including the logistical planning for pick-ups.

I wanted a nature hike in Kathmandu, as I wanted a break away from the madness of the city. Mountain Rock Treks recommended this trail for good reason, as Nagarjun-Jamacho did not disappoint. It was fantastic walking through the rhododendron woods, and being able to see monkeys, and birds, and having our guides' appreciation of conservation was a great bonus. 

I visited Gokyo, and Everest Base Camp in October 2019 believe me this is a must-do in your life!! The trek was moderate to challenging, and we completed it in 21 days. I suggest adding an extra day to explore more in the Everest region. Ensure you fly to and from Lukla in the mornings (the weather is quite unpredictable, and flights might get canceled). Overall, my trekking experience with Mountain Rock Treks was outstanding. 

Having climbed several peaks, including Mera and Island with Mountain Rock Treks, I naturally chose Mt. Manaslu Climbing with them. They are logistical unrivaled with a great support team. What makes them different, however, is the sheer pleasure factor. The climbs under their leadership combine professionalism with a joyous atmosphere, and every trip is unique. The journey was flawlessly executed from start to summit, with safety and camaraderie at the forefront.  If you want a meaningful and adventurous trekking experience, I highly recommend Mountain Rock Treks for their Manaslu climb.
