We had an amazing experience exploring the Upper Mustang on our ride. Lo-Manthang was the perfect place to pause our journey and immerse ourselves in the breathtaking scenery and surreal landscapes. Our bike leader was not only full of energy but also incredibly friendly. He made sure we had a wonderful break during our ride, finding the best spots for us to enjoy a delicious lunch and some authentic Nepali tea. We reached each destination right on schedule, giving us ample time to soak in the stunning views. For those who have a passion for biking, this itinerary is a true gem. This tour offers a diverse range of natural beauty, including mountains, waterfalls, hills, and landscapes. If you're a biking enthusiast, this is a must-do adventure.
We stayed at Deepak’s hotel, ‘Hotel Florid’ in Kathmandu. We booked a porter-come-guide at the hotel. Our guide/porter ‘Rabin’ was extremely helpful, and nothing was ever a problem for him. We’d recommend you request him for your trek. Whatever we wanted, he made happen. We know he was excellent because after speaking to other westerners, we found out serval of them had minor issues and problems with their guides and porters. We did EBC and then planned on the three passes and Gokyo to see the lakes. We enjoyed Gokyo the most, and if we had to choose, we would do that over EBC. Deepak was also beneficial whenever we had a problem. There was constant and clear communication via a cell phone that our guide carried. They fixed any issues right away. We were not left on our own in sticky situations, and when I got altitude sickness, we got the proper advice and management from Deepak. We felt taken care of and guided every set of the way, which meant we had a smooth and enjoyable trek. Book ‘Rabin’ as your guide and stay at ‘Hotel Florid’ in Kathmandu. Eat at ‘The third eye’ in Kathmandu for great Indian food and book a trip through mountain rock treks.
Had an amazing experience exploring Gokyo lakes and Gokyo valley. Trekking for 18 days with a beautiful guide and potter. The trek is more tranquil, and the views from Gokyo Ri are better. I appreciate Mountain Rock Treks for planning such a beautiful excursion.
I was pleased with Mountain Rock Journey's reaction time and level of attention throughout my EBC trek. The knowledgeable and experienced tour guides will explain everything to you during your stay. Using this firm for vacations in Nepal is something I would absolutely advise. I appreciate your help and concern during my stay.
I had trekked in Europe but not in Asia. I found really different from home. I Found people here are super friendly and helpful. We are a group of 6 people and we had a great experience with the local Tamang culture. and Our guide Birus Tamang was great. thank you for supporting Mr. Dipak and the team.
I love to say thank you to the organizer of mountain rock treks and expeditions for your great effort to make our travel a success. We plan to Everest base camp trek when we had an engagement and after getting married we are able to do it as our honeymoon trip. After a successful trip of the Everest base camp trek, we return by Helicopter to Kathmandu. it was one of the best movements in my life, had scenic views of Himalayas including Everest lotse, massive ama Dablam and other mountains. Most recommended trip for the trekker who Himalayas and cultures.
The views of the Himalayas and Everest from Goyko Ri and the splendor of the Dudh Nadi valley should not be overlooked. Gopal, our guide, was excellent, always present to explain what we were seeing and enhance our trip by providing advice and unexpected extras. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
I can’t even begin to explain how incredible the 12-day Everest Base Camp Trek with Mountain Rock Treks was. This trip wasn’t a bucket list item – it was something I had dreamed about doing since childhood, and they made that dream come true. The shorter trek did NOT mean we cut corners on experience. We still got to see the absolutely breathtaking landscape, cross heartstopping suspension bridges, visit towns like Namche Bazaar and Tengboche, and get insights from our guides on the Sherpa lifestyle as well as facts about the Everest region. AND we reached Base Camp. Being surrounded by nothing but massive peaks was such an unreal feeling.
