My recent 3-day Chitwan National Park Safari with Mountain Rock Treks was an absolute dream come true for a wildlife photographer like myself. The Mountain Rock Treks team ensured a seamless experience when I landed in Kathmandu. Their efficient organization handled all logistics, including airport transfers, park permits, and comfortable accommodations within the park itself. The real magic unfolded once we entered Chitwan National Park. Our guide, Ram, was a true gem. Possessing a comprehensive knowledge of the park's flora and fauna, he expertly navigated us through the diverse landscapes, ensuring we maximized our wildlife encounters. 

The trek itself was an incredible experience. The views of the Himalayan mountains were breathtaking, and the sense of accomplishment upon reaching the base camp of Mount Everest was unparalleled. The climb up Island Peak was also a highlight, with Pemba's guidance and encouragement helping us to get to the summit.

Overall, I highly recommend Mountain Rock Treks for anyone considering the Everest Base Camp Trek with Island Peak. And if you have the opportunity, we highly suggest requesting Pemba as your guide - he truly made our trek an unforgettable experience.

I recently finished a 9-day itinerary to the Royal Trek, and it exceeded my expectations in every way! Dipak at Mountain Rock Treks did a great job of organizing everything, communicating everything to us clearly, and answering our queries prior to departure. Gopal, our tour guide, was also quite approachable and, by the time the trip was over, had developed into a close friend. We also had a great time on our day trip to Kathmandu. Seeing the stunning Himalayas, lakes, cultures, and people was wonderful.

We had planned to trek all the way to Tilicho Lake, but due to hearing about the difficult terrain, we decided to take a jeep ride for some part of our journey. What a decision it was. The off-road drive itself was an adventure that took us through rocky trails and river crossings. We had a highly skilled driver who made this impossible road feel so easy (In fact, he is one of the best Jeep drivers we have ever seen). Everything was perfectly scheduled by Mountain Rock Treks - right from permits to accommodations. After reaching Tilicho, when you see that magical blue lake against snowy peaks, all your tiredness is paid off. If you love getting some adventure & thrill along with trekking, this is the thing for you. 

The Upper Dolpo region's trekking route is stunning and difficult. I chose Mountain Rock to guide my friends and me to this area at the end of March. For all of us, staying in teahouses while on the trekking trail was a wonderful experience. At the teahouses, we received excellent care, delicious food, and cozy accommodations. This route will take your breath away with its beauty and serenity if trekking or hiking fills your heart. I appreciate everything. 

 

The EBC trek with Mountain Rock Treks was an experience of a lifetime. Our guide, Tenzin, was incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond to ensure our safety and comfort. The porters were also exceptional, carrying our belongings with a smile. The well-planned itinerary allowed us to acclimate properly and maximise our enjoyment. I'm incredibly grateful to Mountain Rock Treks for making this dream journey a reality.

It was a fantastic experience because the sun shone and the mountains were clear. I wanted to see Mount Everest, and I got my wish. Each of us had a visit from the air hostess, who informed us of the mountains we were viewing and ensured we all had excellent views.

We had four of our family on a great flight from Lukla to Kathmandu by Mountain Rock Treks. The kids were exhausted from days of walking, and we detested the waiting time for so long for a regular flight. Helicopter flight was heaven—it was fast, cozy, and divine scenery. The staff treated us with courtesy, and we received snippets and pieces of the history of the Himalayan mountains from the pilot who had the children over the moon. We arrived in Kathmandu an hour before the crowds and chaos. This was the perfect ending to our trek, and I would highly recommend this service to families requiring comfort and dependability after a trek.
